"Hey Kiyoko." It was the end of the second year for Daichi, Sugawara, and Asahi, and Kiyoko had already started to look for a replacement manager. The new captain of the Karasuno High boys volleyball team had recently found out that their current manager had started to look for a successor.
"Hm?" Kiyoko looked up from the stack of papers she was carrying, the light catching on her glasses.
"We understand you're looking for someone to be the next manager of the volleyball club after we're all gone next year?" Daichi stepped up next to Suga, shooting him a questioning glance.
"Mhm." Kiyoko nodded, her full attention now directed towards the two men standing in front of her.
"We think we know someone who would be happy to take the job. She's joining next year." Kiyoko was silent, thinking for a few seconds.
"Okay. Sounds good." Her lilting tone faded as she walked away, going back to her papers.
