Coldplay: Fix You

"Lights will guide you home and ignite your bones and I will try to fix you."

Julie and Zayn were kinda inside their own little bubble, both blissfully happy. They were so consumed by each other that they didn't even know when time passed and now they were rushing to get her back before the curfew.

Zayn was driving incredibly fast this time; he certainly didn't want to let her get into any trouble. Julie held onto him as tightly as she could, seeing everything move in a blur. She couldn't even open her eyes properly, for the wind was making her eyes tear up. Within moments, the bike stopped right before the orphanage.

She quickly hopped off, taking the helmet off and handing it over, "Thank you." She muttered before pressing a quick peck on his cheek and turning around to go inside.

"Wait!" he called out, making her stop. He stepped out of his bike, made it rest on a single stand. He took his helmet off and hung it on the handle and started walking to her. Damn! He moved like butter.... When he was standing face to face with Julie he raised his hand showing her his wrist watch, "We've still got five minutes left." He had a devilish smile on his face.

She smiled back stepping closer to him, "Gee... wonder what we could do in five minutes."

There was this moment when his gaze flickered between her eyes and her lips. The world stopped for the briefest moment and the only thing between them was the anticipation of having her lips on his. A moment so intense that it was making the air incredibly thick, a moment so perfect it was almost considered better than the actual kiss. Almost.

He leaned in; resting his nose at the crevice between her nose and cheek, "Hmmm..." he feigned thought rubbing his nose up and down the skin where it rested, "How about this." He said before clasping his lips around hers, once... twice... thrice...

Who would have thought something so small could be so everlasting? Something so minute would be the moment she'd spend hours waiting for. That moment when everything becomes hazy and the only thing in focus was she and him, for one moment she had gotten this amazing gift and she wanted to laugh and cry because she was so grateful for finding this and yet so scared that it will go away all at the same time.

It was like sunshine and whiskey; warm and addictive, bright and hot. It wasn't her lips that he had kissed, it was her soul.

When they pulled away, both had that blissful smile on their lips, eyes dilated, and mind dazed. She felt so light-headed, slightly dizzy, but for all the great reasons. She felt light as a feather, as if she could float away any time.

He leaned in again, this time kissing his forehead. "I'll miss you."

"But we'll see each other on Monday."

"I miss you the second I don't see you silly." He laughed shaking his head.

She smiled, incapable of hiding the blush, "Where are you going now?"

"Back to the dorm." He replied and leaned in to peck her lips one more time. "See you on Monday then."

"Okay."

"I love you." She smiled, hearing him say it didn't hurt anymore, actually it made her feel so much better about herself; knowing that someone out there actually loved her. Wait, but love doesn't exist. Oh fuck it!

"Good bye Zayn."

"Good bye Augustine."

She stood there watching him walk over to his bike as he shoved the extra helmet inside his bag. He gave her a playful wink before riding away.
