One Direction: Little White Lies

"If this room was burning, I wouldn't even notice. 'Cause you've been taking up my mind with your little white lies"

"I-I don't want to stay anymore Jack."

Juliana felt so out of place in the party. The frat house was exactly how a typical frat house looked like; big, trashy and preppie. She didn't belong there. She felt underdressed; people were wearing hot and sexy stuff, whilst she was dressed in her usual black jeans and an oversized top. The only difference was that she was wearing her hair down, usually, she'd put it in a bun or a ponytail. Another reason why she was feeling so out of place was that everyone here were either drinking, dancing or talking with friends, making out, having fun; Juliana didn't like doing a single one out of those things.

For the first time, she looked scared; the feeling of not belonging took a toll on her. "Jack I just want to go back." She had to raise her voice so he could hear her over the blaring music.

Her frowned brows, her wide eyes, her pouted lips, her arms wrapped around herself; he could see the fear in her features. "Hey, it's okay." He rubbed up and down her arms, "Let's just say hi to Louis and all and I'll drop you, okay?" he asked in a gentle tone, as if he was talking to a baby.

It did soothe her, maybe not fully, but it eased a bit of the fear away. "They must be somewhere around here." He said placing his hand on her lower back, guiding her through the crowd.

The overwhelming crowd that they had to push made Julie feel a bit anxious, but there was something about how Jack's palm was firmly pressed against her back, it assured her that it'd be alright.

"Louis!" Jack yelled making her jump a bit. Louis had a red plastic cup held by his hand as he was talking to a bunch of people. He turned to Jack and Julie on hearing Jack's voice, instantly smiling as he made his way to them excusing himself.

"Hey guys! Enjoying the party?"

"It's great, but I'll be dropping her off soon." Jack replied.

"Why?" Louis turned to Jules.

"I just feel weird." She shrugged.

"So you're leaving?"

"Who's leaving?" Niall's appeared, with June by his side. She was wearing simple jeans with a black shirt and a red flannel, pretty laid back and Julie appreciated that a lot. She wouldn't admit it to herself, but she was glad there there was somene not too dressed.

"Juliana's leaving." Louis said taking a sip from his cup.

"So soon?" June frowned, "But why? The party just started!"

"I don't feel so comfortable here. Not my scene." Juliana was starting to get annoyed by these pestering new people she had to get associated to. Damn Zayn.....

"Did you at least give it a try? Loosen up girl, don't be so uptight." What the hell? Who gave her the right?

"June stop." Jack knew this could piss Jules off, "Jules, you don't need to stay, no one's forcing you." He told her placing one of her hands on her hip.

Loosen up girl, don't be so uptight.

"Guess I'll stay for an hour or two." She said looking at her watch, 7pm. She genuinely didn't want to stay; she just wanted to prove that she wasn't uptight. Well, at least that's what she thought.

"Atta girl!" Louis cheered, he turned around grabbing a red cup, "Here," he said offering the cup to Jules.

She looked at it, followed by a fearful gulp. She didn't drink; she hated alcohol; mostly because Ben would normally be piss drunk when he hit her. It just made her spite the drinks. But then again, she had something to prove...
