A/N I hope your all ready to be hit by the depression train because there is no happy ending in this chapter >:D

"Scythe, General Kenobi and General Skywalker want you to go with the others into the catacombs" a small hint of fear goes through me as I salute to Commander Cody, "Be ready to leave in ten minutes" I nod as he turns, heading towards Captain Rex probably to discuss how we are going to go about this. I sigh a little heading towards the rest of Tango company, Trap sees me coming and waits for me to catch up. We are supposed to be heading to the medical ship and then waiting for any injured soldiers before heading to a medical centre. I guess that has changed a little, "Hey Scythe, what did Commander Cody want?" I swallow a little still feeling my previous fear as Havoc waits for my answer. "He told me that the Generals want me to join them in looking for General Unduli in the catacombs that they found" All five of my brothers stop walking as they stare at me worry being a shared expression. I panic a little at their faces so I give them a shaky smile trying to give off an air of non existent confidence, "I'm sure it'll be fine..." Trap stops me by placing his hand on my shoulder his light blue eyes softening a bit, "Are you going to be okay? I know what your like in enclosed spaces" I don't even bother answering which gives them all enough information. On one of our missions a building ended up collapsing on me trapping me for over six hours with barely enough room to clench my fists, by the time my brothers finally found me I was almost dead due to lack of oxygen and dehydration. Since then I really don't do well in enclosed spaces and the catacombs are going to be my worst nightmare. Ox gently wraps his arm around my shoulder, "Remember just focus on breathing, try not to think about the tunnels" I nod a little still really not looking forward to this mission, it's then that I realise I only have five minutes left so quick goodbyes are shared and I begin heading back to a large group of clones readying up, "Scythe wait!" I turn, a little surprised as I'm swept into a huge hug by Pulsar. I smile a little wrapping my arms around him holding him for a little while. He pulls away first and presses his forehead against mine, his hands squeeze my shoulders lightly, "Promise me you'll come back alive..." I hesitate knowing that I seriously can't promise anything but I can't resist. His brown eyes are wide with fear and I know that if I promise him then at least he'll calm down, "I promise" A smile spreads across his face at that as he kisses me on the forehead, waving as he runs after the rest of our squad. I keep the smile on for just a little longer before letting it fade entirely. I have a really bad feeling that I will never see them again...

Travelling through the catacombs is as fun as you would expect. It smells like slowly decaying flesh mixed in with a musty scent. It almost makes me want to gag of course that isn't the worst thing about this, the small tunnels are. I swear if it hadn't been for Gearshift quietly encouraging me I would have tried to back out of the tunnel which would of most likely ended with me getting stuck. Since then the rest of the clones have slowly begun to realise what's happening me considering in the past hour I've almost had three panics and a forth one is steadily approaching. I focus on the backs of my brothers, controlling my breathing as I clench hold of my blaster tightly trying to use it as a way of grounding myself and it works... sort of. Suddenly my helmet is knocked off causing me to stumble backwards right into someone arms. These arms quickly wrap round me with such strength that I can feel my ribs slowly digging into my lungs, "Generals!" I yell causing everyone to whip round just in time to watch me being dragged into yet another tunnel. "Scythe!" Gearshift yells racing to me reaching out to grab my hand but it's too late as the thing drops down a tunnel taking me with it. As soon as it hits the floor it drops me hard causing air to rush out but I recover quickly and manage to shoot it in the head... it doesn't die. I look on in horror as the bug screams and lunges at me grabbing hold of both my wrists in one hand pinning them above my head and using the other hand to grab a nearby rock and slam into my temple. I cry out from the impact as I fight to keep conscious. I fail. The last thing I hear before I finally give in is General Kenobi yelling my name. All I can hope for now is that they can save me before it's too late.
