Denal

A/N Hey Guys! I'm back sorry for long wait! So quick explanation, instead of dying to Cad Bane Denal instead successfully manages to grab the holocron and manages to yeet it at Ahsoka before he gets captured by Cad Bane and yeah so no more spoilers hope you enjoy!

I run after Commander Tano as we race to capture Cad Bane before he can escape. We had recently split from General Skywalker and the other clones after Cad Bane closed the door between us trapping us on the bounty hunter's side. I'm worried. Commander Tano is not focused at all, we should have waited like General Skywalker wanted, I even tried to run out of the door before it could close but I didn't get there in time. I had enough to hear one of my brother's scream my name before the door snapped shut. Tano immediately got me to follow her which I did wanting to protect the young feisty padawan and knowing that Anakin would have wanted me to. So, here we are running in circles trying to catch a bounty hunter who just stole the one thing in the entire galaxy that could and would destroy the Jedi. Finally we corner the bounty hunter and as we get closer Tano ignites her single lightsaber and I raise my blaster prepared to help my commander should it become something I must do. The fight that ensues is hard to keep up with but it ends rather quickly as expected when someone tries to fight a Jedi even one as young as Ahsoka. However, I notice as Bane moves his hand ready to grab hold of Ahsoka as she tries to use the force to pick up her lightsaber. I act quickly. Running forward I push Ahsoka out of the way just as Rex comms me, "Denal! Come in!" I hear him yell as I place my boot onto Cad Bane's hand, "We're fine Captain. We just caught the bounty hunter and will be bringing him to you shor-" I get off as I scream in pain my body suddenly assaulted by a fiery, relentless pain. I hear Rex scream through the comm and Tano screaming my name. I fall to the floor faintly registering the pain as my head slams against the floor, I writhe around, gasping trying desperately to get air but it's so hard. Eventually, the pain stops, groaning I look around realising very quickly that a certain padawan is not here. I panic, managing to shakily activate my comm, my voice comes out raspy and tight with pain, "Rex?" At first I don't get a response so I use this time to slowly get up stumbling and completely relying on a wall to keep myself upright, "Denal! Brother are you alright?" I smile hearing the panic in his voice, it's nice knowing that they care, "Yeah I'm okay just got electrocuted by Cad Bane" I grunt a little bit as I try walking, looking down I notice that I know have a handprint burned into my flesh right where Cad Bane grabbed me, "I'm going to murder him" I hear Finn say clearly hearing a blaster being activated. "There's a problem. Both the bounty hunter and Commander Tano have disappeared most likely happened whilst I was being shocked. I'm going to go find her." I say beginning to limp forward with my blaster out ready for a fight which is surely going to happen at some point. I hear the sounds of my brothers protesting but I don't listen the only thing that I'm focused on is saving Commander Tano.   

I finally reach a closed door, pressing my ear against it I can hear faint murmurs of a conversation without waiting any longer I force the doors open blasting holes into two destroyer droids. This provides enough distraction that Commander Tano is able to kick the bounty hunter in the face, retrieve her lightsaber and cut her binders. However, I didn't see a commando droid hiding behind a droid, it leaps at me grabbing hold of my neck lifting me off the ground and begins to ruthlessly punch my chest. Air forces it's way out of my body as the grip becomes tighter with every passing second, "Denal!" I hear Commander Tano yell as she rushes over slicing the droid in half, griping my bruised stomach I reach out and grab the holocron. "Commander we need to go who knows when this ship will explode" She nods and we begin to run towards the hanger. Well, the Commanders running I'm just trying to keep up at this point. The Commander reaches the hanger but before I can even get to the doors something lands into me knocking me over with such force that the breath leaves my body. I don't have enough time to react as hands grip my throat whilst more hands try and pry the holocron out of my hand. Eyes narrowing I use the little strength I have left in my body to hurl the holocron to Ahsoka. It hits her on the head just as she gets into the ship, this causes her to turn and I watch as her eyes widen taking in the sight of me being swarmed by droids. I hear her scream my name and watch as my brothers begin to realise what's happening. However, none of them reach me as the doors slid shut. The last thing I see is Anakin grabbing hold of a screaming, crying Ahsoka preventing her from trying to get to me. He mouths sorry to me as he sheds a tear, even my brothers are trying to reach me with Rex having to use his body to stop Finn from coming to me. And then the doors close. But so do my eyes.

Groaning, my eyes slowly open as I begin to prepare myself for the situation that I'm probably in. I try and move my hands only to realise that they are binded separately above my head against a ladder. I sigh noting that I'm in an escape pod, I arch my back trying to find a more comfortable position against the ladder but it's no use. It's then I see Cad Bane staring at me from across the pod, watching cautiously as he approaches. He reaches forward grabbing my hair pulling it roughly upwards causing me to grunt as I feel his hand stroke my cheek with a fake gentle tone to it. "I suppose your wondering why I took you right? Why I bothered to kidnap canon fodder." I snarl as his hand rubs against my cheekbone feeling disgusted as his hand travels down my neck rubbing hard circles against it pressing straight into my adam's apple causing an uncomfortable almost painful feeling. "Your my ticket to getting the holocron back. Don't even think of trying to escape I really wouldn't want to have to put a shock collar on you" His hand grasps my throat tightly as I begin to struggle for air. He watches me for a while alternating between closed fist around my neck and a tight grip that adds just enough pressure for me to struggle against but not enough to fully choke. He steps back before slapping me, punching my ribs, kicking my stomach over and over. Eventually, it all becomes to much but it's not over yet as he grabs a syringe and sticks it deep into my neck. I scream as liquid is pushed into my bloodstream leaving a burning feeling running through my veins. All I can do is feel it invade and plague my veins. Tears begin to fall from my eyes as my world steadily grows darker and darker until there is nothing. Nothing but darkness and pain.
