Clone Trooper Angst Oneshot Book

Denal Part 2

The binds fall loose as I finally manage to loosen them, sighing I stretch my legs still feeling the pain from my burned ankle. It's definitely going to leave a scar. Quickly I place my helmet back onto my head and begin stumbling through the corridors of the separatist ship trying to reach the main control room. In the time that I have been unconscious Cad Bane got hold of yet another separatist ship and to be honest I do not want to be around when Cad Bane finds out I escaped. Looking up I see a vent opening but it's way too high for me to reach. I grunt in frustration but freeze hearing the sounds of many droids heading my way. Racing to the side and hiding behind a jutting out piece of wall. My heartrate speeds up but right before the droids could have a chance of seeing me the entire ship rocks violently, "The Jedi are here! We need to get up there they landed the tanks on the top of the ship" I smile hearing the droids rushing away. Only General Skywalker would dare to invade an enemy ship like that which means I need to help them in any way I can even in my current state. I limp faster knowing that most of the droids would have been sent to defend the ship. Turning a corner I see the control room noting that there were no droids there at all. Cautiously going into the room the lights suddenly switch on blinding me. It's a trap. I'm on the floor after being tackled by a droid, looking up as the droid pins both my wrists above my head, wiggling I try and kick the droid but all I succeed in doing is causing more pain in my ankle. "I did warn you what would happen clone" I feel metal wrap around my wrists as I'm thrown into the electric torture trap thingy (I'M SORRY I DON'T KNOW THE NAME OF IT) my hands trapped above me. A droid grabs my chin turning my head to the side as a needle presses against my skin. I squeeze my eyes shut preparing for the sting, wincing as the needle finally sinks into my flesh. I look to see Cad Bane finger on a button on his wrist. "Your squadron have finally arrived shall we get them here faster?" He doesn't wait for a response as he presses down on the button. Electricity flows through my body attacking everything but it's so much worse. The injection they gave me was a pain enhancer drug making the pain twenty times worse. An agonized scream rips out of my mouth as I writhe in my bounds. Eventually it stops as the sounds of shooting draws nearer leaving me panting head lolling forward. The doors are blasted open as the two droids beside the doors are sliced in half. Looking up slowly I see General Skywalker and Commander Tano lightsabers ignited ready to fight. Ahsoka looks at me looking shocked at what had been done the bruises, cuts and the massive burn on my ankle. Anakin just looks ready to punch the nearest thing which is amusing. I wasn't sure if they would come for me considering the nature of this war but that was me just being stupid of course they would come because they cared. Cad Bane asks them for the holocron which they obviously do not hand over. So Bane turns to me and begins ruthlessly punching my stomach and chest breaking pretty much all of my ribs. The pain is brutal, I can almost feel my ribs pressing harshly against my skin almost like they are trying to break free of the thin layer of flesh that imprisons them. This pain doesn't last long however as Cad Bane is lifted into the air by the force and chucked to the side smashing his head against a wall knocking him senseless. I can barely muster the energy to keep my eyes open until I feel a gentle hand cup my cheek causing me to groan as my body shifts. "It's okay Denal your going to be just fine" The commander's voice causes me to open my eyes a little seeing a burry version of Ahsoka steadily becoming clearer, suddenly the cuffs are no longer suspended as I fall forward but they both catch me and gently sit me on the floor. I hear faint murmurs of a conversation between them but that ends quickly as Anakin lifts me up in his arms. I look up slowly staring up at him as my head lays on his chest smiling I close my eyes but not to sleep but to distract myself from the pain of having my ribs pushed against each other. I don't register much but I do hear blasters shooting, lightsabers and finally cones. My eyes snap open as I see Rex, Finn and five other clones rush up to us. I smile feeling exhausted as Finn immediately asks for me. So, in a matter of minutes I'm passed over to my brother, "Hey brother" Finn says as he begins to run after the others, "Hey thanks for coming" My voice comes out strained and weak as I snuggle into my brother's neck releasing a sigh, "It's okay to go to sleep I won't let anything happen to you" I smile again and nod letting my eyes fall close accepting that everything is okay.

I wake up groaning softly as the pain from my chest comes flooding back. Looking around I see a clone pile surrounding my bed and as I try and sit up I fall out of bed and land on one of my brothers causing a small gasp of pain. That brother turns out to be Rex who wakes up and wraps his arms around me, "You need to be more careful. You are in no condition to be out of bed" I almost laugh hearing the mom tone in his voice, "Sorry I just wanted to see who else was here" He laughs and kisses my forehead beginning to pet my hair which feels so good to me after so long of not being near my brothers. I snuggle deeper into his chest as more arms wrap around us meaning more brothers decided to join us. I smile before closing my eyes. It's nice knowing that I'm safe. It's good to know that I wasn't left behind like so many of our other brothers. I embrace Rex tighter as sleep finally over comes me.
