Blue Shadow Virus Part 2

Rex's POV

I gasp feeling the needle going even further into my neck causing a stinging pain to spread across my neck. Looking at my general I can tell that he wants nothing more than to run up to the doctor with his lightsabre ignited and kill him. But he can't. If he so much as ignites his lightsabre the virus will be injected into me killing me and anyone I accidently infect, "You do not want to do this Xavier" General Kenobi says glaring hard at the doctor who laughs right in my ear, "Oh I don't think I am! Now, I suggest you surrender before I get bored" I scowl watching as he places his thumb onto the plunger ready to infect me with the blue mist. Anakin looks even more angry watching as the doctor does this until he silently drops his lightsabre. A silent surrender. Obi wan, Cody and the others all follow suit even though General Kenobi looks like he seriously doesn't want to, "Wise choice Jedi" The doctor says finally removing the syringe from my neck leaving a painful ache behind, during this the droids round up my brothers and generals pressing them against the wall in a long line placing binders on all of their wrists. The doctor begins to slowly walk up the line before stopping in front of General Skywalker, "I hope I can trust you enough to leave you here in the company of my droids whilst I deal with some business" My general doesn't reply and only glares at him. The Doctor grins heading towards the door until he swings round smiling widely as his eyes double in size from excitement, "Oh I almost forgot!" I watch with dread as he practically skips over to the droid standing beside the lever that releases electricity into Kix and I, "If they speak pull the lever got it?" The droid responds with roger but my general becomes anxious, "What does the lever do?" The doctor grins widely at Anakin, "Get them to speak and you will soon find out Jedi" with that he leaves the room leaving all of us alone with around a dozen droids.

"Rex, Kix are you both alright? Just nod don't speak" I nod hearing General Kenobi's sigh of relief, "What's the plan generals?" Cody asks but I can tell with the direction of his helmet that he is still looking only at me. Anakin looks around trying to find a way to escape safely and without electrocution. Kix grabs hold of my hand suddenly causing me to try and look at him. He smirks at me and nods towards a large cord going from the generator that we are tied to and leading to the lever. I nod, beginning to smile, if we can find a way of unplugging the cord then even if the droid pulls the lever it won't hurt us. "Rex, Kix have you figured something out?" I hear Cody's sharp whisper gaining the attention of the generals. We have a problem now. How can we possibly tell them our plan without getting electrocuted? Unless we pull it out now and tell them after. I smile trying to get them to trust me as I grab hold of the cord feeling Kix do the same, both of us at the same time begin pulling with all of our strength until it comes free with a loud pop and an electrical burst. This burst of electricity causes me to cry out in surprise as I lean forward attempting to escape, "Rex! What the force did you two just do?" I smile at Obi wan still feeling the electricity flowing through my body, "Sorry sir. That lever would have released a large electric shock and we just managed to do something to stop the electric flow. It caused a burst through the generator which I think will zap us every time we try and rest against the generator" General Skywalker grins, "and that's why you two are in 501st" I grin watching as Obi wan rolls his eyes, "Do we have a plan then?" Kix asks as he once again grabs my hand tightening it from. I frown in worry trying to get a look at his face, the only times he ever holds my hand is if he's in pain so I interrupt before the general can speak, "Kix are you sure you're alright?" he takes in a shuddering breath that we can all quite clearly hear, "Yeah just well remember how I told you that they didn't knock me out? Instead they just beat me and did a lot more electrocuting" I scowl watching as Obi wans features harden and Anakin looking like he wants to murder someone. Cody tenses and I don't need his helmet off to know that he is beyond livid at this point. "How bad? Are you going to need carrying?" Anakin asks quickly, "I believe half my ribs are broken completely or cracked, I know for a fact that my right leg is dislocated and just feeling generally weak from the electricity. I don't know if I need carrying just yet but I guess we will found out soon enough" Anakin looks even more annoyed, "Then let's not wait" I raise an eyebrow confused until he kicks a BB-8 battle droid in the head completely removing it from its base as he uses the force to bring his light sabre to him. In a matter of moments all of my brothers are free and surrounded by mounds of destroyed droids. I grin as Anakin rushes over using his light sabre to melt away one of our binders before going around and melting the other one. "Up you come brother" I accept Cody's hand as he pulls me up gently I gasp feeling the sudden burst of pain in my chest and fully lean against Cody for support, "Are you okay?" Another clone asks obviously hearing my pained gasp, looking up I try and smile but I can't as another wave of pain crushes me blurring my vision as I let out a groan. Cody decides in that moment that I am not escaping on my own two feet as he picks me up bridal style holding me close to his chest. "Don't worry little brother I won't leave you behind" I smile looking past his body to see in Kix in a much worse state than me. Another clone gently picks him up taking care with his chest area. "Right, all of you go back to the ships and get Rex and Kix to the nearest med bay. Obi wan and I will handle the Doctor" We all nod as Cody races through the corridors and successfully reach the gunship with no incident all I can really hope is that General Kenobi and General Skywalker have succeeded.

Waking up I feel a weight on the bed. Looking to my right I smile looking into the sleeping face of Cody. I turn onto my side gently wrapping my arms around him pulling him closer to me ignoring the pain in my chest. He groans waking up a little and wraps his arms around me, "How are you feeling?" I smile at his question beginning to pet his hair hearing his pleased sigh, "Better now that I'm away from that place. Is Kix alright? What about the generals?" He chuckles wrapping the blanket more around us, "Kix is going to be fine and the Generals succeeded in stopping Doctor Xavier. The blue shadow virus is no longer a threat." I smile feeling him snuggle into my chest. I close my eyes again feeling safe cuddling with my precious older brother.
