Izzy's POV

"I'm leaving now, I'll be back later. Team bonding is in our room so just an FYI." Chris whispers and I groan.

"Stay, cuddle. I'm tired." I mumble into the pillow.

"I have to go to practice baby, I'll be back. I love you. Keep sleeping."

"Good luck, be safe. Don't burn holes into heads." I giggle into the pillow as I yawn.

"Work. Fun? No." I mumble as I type on my computer.

I close my computer as I drink my coffee. I sigh and let my head fall onto the table.

"Fuck. That hurt." I mumble and rub my head. "This is boring."

Christen's POV

"Team bonding in your room Pressy! We'll be there in half an hour." Pinoe says.

I give a thumbs up and open the door to the room.

"Baby I'm back." I say into the room.

"Hi babe." Izzy says and I look around the room.

"Where are you?"

"I'm in bed, I'm having a moment of silence for myself because I don't know how to go on with my work." I laugh as I go towards the bed and pull the blankets off her.

"Hi, you." I say with a smile.

"Let me continue drowning in my work."

"The team is coming in half an our. You want to maybe take a nap before they come?" I ask.

"No, I'll just try and finish this. Go shower, I'll go grab you a snack. Now go shower before they come." She says and I nod.

"Keep being cute." I lean down to peck her lips and head to the shower.

Alex's POV

"So is Christen's girlfriend like what? What does she do?" Mal asks.

"Well sh-"

"Is she tall? Short? What's she like? Tobin's talked about her, but what is she really like?"

"Well you can ask her when we get to their room." Tobin says and I nod.

"I'm excited, I wanna meet her." Mal says and I chuckle. "You think she'll like me?"

"I'm sure she'll love you." I say and she smiles.

"And we're here." Tobin says opening the door.

"Hi guys, don't mind the mess on the bed. Bella is finishing her work." Chris says.

"DROWNING! I'm drowning in my work babe!" Izzy yells.

"Drowning, sorry. Come in."

"Izzy, maybe put work away? You have that crinkle on your nose when you're frustrated and thinking too hard." Tobin says and I look at Chris.
