Izzy's POV

"Does it look bad?" I ask Kenny as I tilt my head.

"I mean it doesn't look bad but it's there." Kenny says as she puts her sunglasses on.

"Wonderful." I say sarcastically. "Go buy me a sweater."

"It's hot you'll get sweaty."

"Well then these will be visible." I say pointing to my neck.

"You're acting as if you can't see Christen's hickeys either." Kenny says.

"Crap."

"But yours are more visible for sure." Kenny says nodding her head.

"Auntie Kenny is being mean." I whisper to Catalina as I fix her small hat. "Hi Jess, everything going good there?"

"We're good here." Jess says and I nod my head. "We'll see you tomorrow at the next place."

"Great. See you then." I say ending the phone call.

We're at the home opener game for Angel City against North Carolina. I made sure I bought some nice noise canceling headphones for all three of the kids. We're all wearing Christen's jersey, obviously. We're also sitting all the way up in the field because that's where Christen wanted us.

"Number twenty three, Christen Press!"

"Woo!" I shout as I raise my free arm up.

"Yeah mama!" Asher shouts. "Go mama!"

"Hey guys."

I look to my left and see the Heath-Morgan family walking towards us.

"Hi Al, Tobin. Ooh Charlie, hi Charlie."

"Auntie!"

"Mommy I can't see." Ashton says as he tugs on my jeans.

"I bet Oby would love to carry you, we'll all sit in a bit." I say ruffling his hair as he walks towards Tobin.

As the game begins I sit down because as much as I love my wife, I'm exhausted.

"Hey she's not covering her tattoo." Kenny says and I squint as I try and look for her arm. "Did you know?"

"She might've mentioned it." I say as I spot my wife. "She looks good. Oh yeah she told me last night she wasn't going to wrap anything around it."

"On a scale of one to ten how much did you cry when you found out Christen was coming home." Kenny asks.

"Thirteen." I say as I look at Christen running. "I was so happy she was finally able to be where she wanted to be and for her to be with us more often. I'm all for her happiness just like she's all for mine."

"Honestly how are you two not on a cover of a magazine." Kenny says and I chuckle.

"Beats me."

"GOAL! Jun Endo!"

"Woo!" I shout and raise my arm up. "Yeah Angel City!"

"Jun is pretty good don't you think?" Tobin asks me.

"She's good and she's sweet too. I talked to her once for a little bit and she's really sweet."

"Have you met any other of the girls?" Alex asks.

"Actually not yet." I say.

Vanessa scored the second goal then in the second half of the game Debinha scored for North Carolina. But also my Christen scored the third goal for Angel City. She celebrated by kissing her right hand and placing it over the tattoo that's on her left arm, then looked up at the sky but then looked at me to blow me a kiss. The softness in her face said it all.
