Christen's POV

"Happy Birthday!" Becky, Kelley and I shout.

"Aww hi guys, thank you." Bella says with a smile and I grin.

"Happy birthday baby, I love you."

"Thanks babe, I love you too." She says.

"So what are you doing today?" Kelley asks.

"I'm going to work and then I think Kenny said she's going to make food? Don't know how that'll end but I'll let you know."

"Well we'll let you get ready for work. I'll FaceTime you later tonight is that okay?" I ask.

"Perfect you don't have to ask. Maybe even call me when I'm eating, god knows how Kenny will cook." She says and I laugh.

"Okay now go get ready, I love you."

"I love you too."

Izzy's POV

"There's donuts and coffee ready in the break room. Enjoy." Justin says as he heads out. "Oh and Happy Birthday Izzy!"

I chuckle and I go to my desk to sit down as I take a sip of my water. From the corner of my eye I see Claire coming.

"Hey, what's up?" I ask.

"Brought you a donut, also here to discuss the articles we have to do." She says.

"Thank you for the donut, and alright what do we have today."

"Potential Presidential candidates."

"Oh fun."

"Is that sarcasm?"

"What? Oh god no. These presidential candidates are fun to cover. It's a way people get to know their candidates and obviously who's running."

"So true. Oh, happy birthday. I got you something it's not big, but something." She says handing me the small bag and I smile.

"Thank you."

"Yeah yeah of course." She says with a smile.

"Do I open it or?"

"Oh that's up to you." She says and I nod.

"What is it?" I ask and she laughs.

"That I'm not telling you. Kidding it's a sweater and some shoes."

"Aw thanks."

"Of course, no problem at all. Now should we get working?" She asks.

"Yes. So who are the candidates?"

"Well we have Kamala Harris."

"Let's get started."

Kenny's POV

"Are you getting here soon?"

"I'm half an hour away, I'm going five above the speed limit. It's tough out here." She says and I snort.

"Just get here soon, at least before Izzy gets home. If you don't then there's no surprise." I say and she laughs.

"I think we could still make it a surprise. Do I grab something from the store?"

"I have the cake, I'll make food once she gets home. Just get here quickly."

"I heard you the first time Kenny."

"Step on it."

"Oh my goodness, I'm trying."

"Are you sure?"
