A week passed and Tony briefed me on the history of the team, like who they've fought and how they all met.
Thor went on to tell me stories about Asgard. Steve and Natasha took turns training me on hand to hand fighting skills.
They told me eventually I'd meet a man, Nick Fury.
He is the director of S.H.E.I.L.D.
Tony said that he wants to see my powers and possibly have me go on missions with the team from time to time.
Natasha seemed to warm up to me although she didn't go easy on me during practice.
"Your gonna have to work a little harder than that to get me down Y/N," she says slightly out of breath kicking my feet out from under me.
Falling on my back I breathe out heavily, "yeah uh I think I'm done for today."
She chuckles, "ok but tomorrow you have boxing with Steve."
She walks out of the room leaving me to catch my breath on the floor.
After a couple minutes I get up and take off my tank top leaving me in the red sports bra Natasha bought me when we went shopping a couple days ago.
As I'm walking to my room I hear Jarvis over the loud speakers say,

"Tony request you all in the dining room immediately with a message from Nick Furry."

I get nervous wondering if it was a problem with me. What if he didn't want me living here or being a part of the team anymore?
I try not to let my anxiety get the best as I walk down the hall to the dinning room to see the team already gathered around the table.
"Y/N, Furry called. We have a mission to recover some weapons from a Hydra base in the city."
I immediately calm down thankful that it had nothing to do with me.

"You need to stay here, we'll be back in a few hours but we have to leave right now. Suit up." He says to everyone else and they all disburse getting into their suits and Thor picking up his hammer that leaned against the wall by the elevator.
"Be safe," I tell Thor.
"We will miss Y/N. You needn't worry." He smiles at me now holding open the elevator door for Bruce to squeeze in last.

And with that I was all alone unsure of what to do. I hadn't been alone since I got here.
I went and took a quick cold shower and came to the kitchen looking for something to eat tying, my now soft brown curly, hair up into a loose ponytail.
"Miss Y/N. I've put popcorn in the microwave for you and turned on movie if you'd like to watch it?" Jarvis says startling me.
"Oh yes thank you Jarvis." I say walking over to the microwave picking up the freshly popped popcorn and putting it into a glass bowl. I sat on the sofa, "play the movie please Jarvis."
"Of course."

*A few hours later.*

I hear a ding of the elevator pulling my self up to a seated position as the team walks in with angry looks on their faces.
"What's wrong? Is everything ok? Are you guys hurt?" I ask frantically getting up to get a closer look at Tony.
"No um Y/N. We're all ok but we have a new house guest," he tells me tasking of his mask clearly annoyed.
The elevator goes off quietly once more and I turn my attention to see Thor walk out surprisingly not alone.
He has his hand on the should of a tall man in handcuffs and metal covering his mouth.
His skin is pale but clear. His hair is long and dark falling onto his shoulders slicked behind his ears.
I realize I've been holding my breath while staring at this man silently. He was staring at me. His eyes were so beautiful. They were a piercing blue.
Thor finally breaking the quiet tension by saying, "This Loki Y/N. He is my brother from Asgard. He was responsible for the stolen weaponry-" "Yes and unfortunately he is staying here. In a cage I made especially for you reindeer games." He says interrupting Thor turning his attention to Loki himself.
Thor reaches to take off the metal covering his mouth releasing the smug grin he had on his face. He is about to say something in response to Tony but instead turns to me and takes a step closer. Tony instinctively stepping closer beside me and Thor grabbing Loki's shoulder again.
"Y/N is it? And where did you come from?" He asks smirking at me.
"Don't speak to her. You so much look at her and I'll kill you myself." Tony tells him sternly.
I couldn't help but keep my eyes on his blue ones. He was so beautiful. His lips a sweet shade of rose bright complimenting his fair skin.
Thor pulls him out of my gaze, "I'll take him to where he is staying downstairs." They left quickly but not before Loki whispers almost inaudibly, "Goodbye Y/N."
"You can't go near him Y/N. He is dangerous," Tony says turning me to face him. Steve chimes in, "Tony is right, Loki isn't someone you want to mess with."
I look at Natasha questioning her silence. Her face was emotionless.
They eventually left to wrap some minor cratches and cuts.
I see Bruce in the lab before heading into my room for the night. Walking over and knocking on the door before he looks up nodding for me to come in.
"What's up Y/N?" He turns his attention back to one of the screens he had been typing on.
"I just wanted to ask you something."
"Go ahead," he said calmly.
"What did Loki do? Like.. why do you guys hate him so much?" I ask hesitantly.
He sighs taking off his glasses placing them on the glass table in front of him.
"Um... remember how we told you about an attack on New York." I nod. "Well that was Loki. He he hurt a lot of people, especially Thor."
"Oh"
"Yeah he isn't the nicest guy," he chuckles nervously. "But there's nothing to worry about Y/N. Tony and I built that box so he couldn't hurt anyone or escape anytime soon.
"Loki has powers? Like me."
"Not exactly. He is technically a god so he is strong like Thor but with powers specific to him." He explains turning his attention back to the computer.
"Well you can tell me more about it another time," I tell him sensing he wanted to get back to work, "goodnight."
"Goodnight Y/N. Sleep well." He says typing away.
Could he really be that bad? I thought to myself walking back to my room and laying down.
I quickly fell asleep to a dreamless slumber.
