Viella throws away any uneaten food and cleans up the table, not letting me help at all of course.

"Your very hard headed you know," I scoff sitting on the bed as I wait for her to finish.

"This is my duty Y/N," she says walking into a closet and coming back out with a covered hanger, "as is this."

She unzips the bag to reveal the most elegant and divine dress I've ever seen. It is mostly dark green with hints of shimmering black lace. Portrait neckline with long sheer sleeves. The dress length reaches to the floor and a double slit.
"Y/N?"

"Uhh Yea?" I say in awe.

"So you like it," she chucked removing it from the hanger.

"Where did you get this?!"

"Well prince Loki of course. He is very powerful he can create anything he likes out of thin air," she said as I stood up allowing for her to under the back of my dress.

"This is the first I see of his powers you know," I slip the dress off and she goes to unlace the other, "on earth Loki is not allowed to use his power-"

She laughs out loud bringing to dress to me, "you must be joking. The God of Mischief cannot use his powers on earth?! That's ridiculous, if he isn't using his power on earth it must be because he chooses not to."

He can't be that powerful.

I slip on the dress, looking at myself in the mirror admiring how perfectly the cloth hugs my skin, accentuating my natural curves but still not losing its elegance.

"And by that Y/N," she unties my hair letting my unkept curls fall onto my shoulders, " I mean he must truly likes you."
"Mmm," I turn to face her.

"What makes you so unsure? You look lovely by the way."

"Thank you... I just think it's too good to be true you know," I sit down picking the sides of my nails impulsively, "I am human, with powers granted, but still a human. After being here for only a day I can see how much better it is to live here. You literally said he can make things up out of thin air. Who wouldn't want to live this way."

Viella's face remained calm still somewhat content, "I understand where you may be coming from but you must try and understand that although life here is glamorous, his life hasn't been. You must know of his past at this point so I won't explain it to you. If he has allowed his life to be this way since you've arrived in it, it must mean something."

She begins brushing through and straightening my hair.

"I haven't known you for a long time but I feel as though you don't give yourself enough credit. You are a beautiful young lady that has shown me such compassion and kindness that I have not seen in many years working for this family. I can tell by looking in your eyes how much pain and suffering you've been through as I've seen that look in the prince's eyes before and yet you still continue to put a smile on your face and care so much about him. I believe that you deserve the same love and compassion you show to everyone else."

She finishes my hair and lifts my head to look back up to her, "be kind to yourself Y/N."

I exhale already feeling emotionally exhausted before I've even had the chance to get to the party.

"Let us focus now Y/N, it's already getting dark and I've yet to do your makeup."

She spends around 40 minutes doing my makeup. Honestly a masterpiece. The thoughts of not deserving all this treatment flow freely though my mind and I try not to pay them much attention. I can't really add that to the list of things I'm anxious about tonight.
"How do you feel?" She asks fluffy my hair up a bit for the finishing touch, gleaming in pride of her work.
