Speeding into theironworks, Scott slammed on the brakes as Aurelia pushed open the passenger side door. A smirk on her face as she met eyes with Derek. "GET IN." She yelled, before climbing into the back seat next to Stiles. "What part of laying low don't you understand?" Lia scolded, lurching backwards at the force of Scott flooring the gas peddle. Bullet's bounced off the black paint job as the slick car dispersed from the hunter's line of sight, instinctively making Aurelia duck her head.
"DAMN IT, I HAD HIM!" Derek screamed, smacking the dash. Both Lia and Stiles leaned forwards to get a read on the werewolf.
"Who, the Alpha?"
"Yes! He was right in front of me, and the friggin' police showed up." Derek spat, clearly annoyed that he had missed what looked like his only shot.
"Whoa, hey, they're just doing their jobs!" Stiles argued, earning a threatening look from the older wolf.
"Yeah, thanks to someone who decided to make me the most wanted fugitive in the entire state." Derek hissed, looking through the mirror in the car at Aurelia — who awkwardly bowed her head.
"Can we seriously get past that? I made a dumbass mistake. I get it. I thought you were dead! We all did. And I was kinda under pressure—" Aurelia rambled, trying to explain herself, which only seemed to make matters worse.
"—How did you find him?" Stiles asked somewhat calmly, reaching over and holding Lia's hand in attempts to reduce her stress. Derek just scoffed.
"Can you try to trust us for at least half a second?" Scott nodded, keeping his eyes on the road.
"Yeah, all of us." Stiles countered. "Or just him. We'll be back here."
"Look the last time I talked to my sister, she was close to figuring something out. She found two things. The first was a guy named Harris."
"Our chemistry teacher?" Aurelia questioned popping her head in between the seats again. "Why him?"
"I don't know yet."
"What's the second?" Scott asked, swiftly glancing over at the leather-clad man.
"Some kind of symbol." Derek sighed, reaching into his pocket he pulled out a folded piece of paper. Roughly pushing the paper into Aurelia's hand, he turned away staring out the window. Sketched in pencil was a very familiar shape and design, seen many a time by Scott and Aurelia. Lia sighed, rubbing her forehead as Scott inhaled deeply. "What? You know what this is?"
"I've seen it on a necklace." Scott deadpanned, looking back at Aurelia to check they had both recognised it.
"Allison's necklace."
