Shivering.

Lia could not stop shivering.

Even as she heated her palms, which she was sat on, her body could not hold in heat. It was a foreign feeling. Almost like it wasn't hers. Wanting to blame it on the rain that poured on her as they left the substation, she didn't once consider the more likely reason.

As Isaac lay on the floor shivering, with Allison screaming over his unconscious body, Lia sat in the Sheriff station. None the wiser, to what was happening beyond the doors of the building.

"'So when did you get there?" Agent McCall asked, his voice cutting through the deafening silence. Lia kept her gaze down at her knees, ignoring the impaling stare from her friend's father.

"At the same time." Stiles responded, his tone specifying how obvious the answer was.

Looking over the group, Rafael McCall didn't seem convinced. "At the same time as who?"

"At the same time as me." Scott spoke up, the tension between father and son outweighing any other issue in the room.

This back and forth continued on for a while, Rafael gaining more annoyance the more they spoke. Aurelia kept her head down. She hated Mr McCall and would probably tell him that to his face. But right now, she wanted to go home. Instead, she was sat between Stiles and Scott being asked a million questions.

"Okay, let me answer the questions—" Raf started, sighing, and dropping his head. Ignoring the laughs from the others in the room. "Let me ask the questions. Just so I have this absolutely clear. Barrow was hiding in the chemistry closet at the school.
Someone left him a coded message on the blackboard telling him to kill Kira." The group nodded along. "Then Barrow took Kira to a power substation and tied her up with the intent of electrocuting her, which blacked out the entire town."

"Sounds about right." Lia nodded, finally facing the man himself.

"How did you know that he'd take her to a power station?"

Scott spoke up at this point, almost congratulating his friends. "That was all Lia and Stiles."

"Cause he was an electrical engineer, so, where else would he take her?" Stiles answered, his hand placed over his chin as he thought of the way to word it. Raf questioned how he managed it, the link wasn't exactly an obvious one without the help of a Banshee. "Yeah, well, what can I say? I take after my pops. He's in law enforcement." Stiles smirked, clicking towards his father. Noah sat behind his desk trying to cover his laugh. After all the situation was absurd.

Looking towards his son, he gestured to Rafael. "Stiles? Just, uh, answer the man."

"We made a good guess!" Stiles nearly yelled, exasperation clear in his voice.

Looking down at Noah, Agent McCall sighed. "You believe this?"

"To be honest, I haven't believed a word Stiles has said since he learned how to speak. But I think these kids found themselves in the right place at the right time and that girl sitting there is very lucky for it."

Scott's father only lowered his head and accepted that this battle, was not one he was going to win. "Kira, is that how you remember it?"

This was the question they had all been waiting for. Aurelia was pleasantly surprised that they were allowed to be interviewed in the same room. Expecting to be spilt up, she did panic for the story bound to leave Kira's mouth. But the entire group relaxed when she agreed.

Roman stood first, once everyone had been dismissed, reach for Lia's hand and helping her up. Touching her fingers made his retract away initially, but he kept the questions in until they were safely inside Stiles' car.
