Pulling into Lydia'sdriveway, Allison, Aurelia and Lydia herself sat in silence. Tension looming in the air from the last hours events. "I need you to promise that you won't say anything about what just happened," Allison spoke up, turning in her seat so she faced the strawberry blonde. Aurelia sat in the back, her mind reeling with the ideas on how to subdue the Kanima manifesting itself in Jackson. As much as Aurelia and him didn't get along, she didn't want to see him hurt. Biting roughly at her nails, she pulled out her phone as she felt it buzz against her thigh.

"I'll promise not to say anything about what just happened if you can tell me what the hell just happened." Lydia deadpanned, staring between her friends expectantly.
"It's— it's kind of complicated." Allison vaguely described. Aurelia knew this wouldn't be enough for anyone, let alone Lydia, so with a sigh — she shoved her phone back into her pocket and went to speak up.
"Well, how about you start with why was Derek there? Or where Jackson went, or what is wrong with Erica?" When neither girl answered her questions, Lydia frowned. "Oh, do you need a minute to come up with a plausible lie?"
"Part of the reason why I'm asking is because Scott and I aren't supposed to be seeing each other, okay? So, it's better if you just keep what you know to yourself." Allison avoided, speaking of everything but what had happened. Which didn't help her case either way.
"Fine. I'll keep what I know about you and your boyfriend, which is nothing, to myself." Lydia snapped, going to climb out of the hunter's car. Only to stop when she felt a hand clasp her arm.
"Hey. He's not just my boyfriend. You get that, right?"
"Let me go," Lydia demanded, trying to remove the girl's grip.
"Just for one second, please, try and remember—" Allison begged.
"—Remember what?" Lydia spat, turning towards the brunette.
"What it feels like." Aurelia smiled. "All of those times in school when you see him standing down the hall, and you cannot breathe until you're with him." Lia smiled, knowing the feeling all too well. "Or those times in class when you— you can't stop looking at the clock because you know that he's standing right out there waiting for you. Or when you feel so down and you know he's the only thing that helps. The laughter that you release when he makes you laugh, and the triumphant smirk when he realises he's right. His words are like gospel and his touch feels like fire. Don't you remember what that's like?" Aurelia asked, staring at her friend.
"No."
"What do you mean? You've had boyfriends." Allison asked, moving her hand from her arm to her balled-up fist.
"None like that."
