The Ring Exchange was over and now, the guests were requested to have a feast and enjoy themselves. Although this was the engagement of 'the' Eklavya Ved Rathore, the only heir to the Rajput throne, no media were invited. Eklavya knew and understood that Aadhya would be terrified. She was already scared getting married to him, and then putting pressure of the media on her would not be good. Eklavya, however, was still protective and possessive to introduce Aadhya to his business colleagues. Aadhya was looking so heavenly and ethereal that day, that for Eklavya was hard to believe that she would be only his. Only he would have right on that beautiful body and that innocent mind of hers, and Eklavya felt that he had achieved his own personal space.
For the first time, after a long time, Aadhya could finally heave a breath. She felt safe, and that was sure after a long, long time by the way Eklavya introduced her to his associates, by keeping a hand on her waist and glaring at everyone who gave her 'the look'. She was feeling ecstatic. Sure, she still had the doubt of her professional career, but the way Eklavya behaved, made Aadhya sure that if she tried well, Eklavya would always understand her. Ekanshi had been observing everything, and she gave out a smile for she knew that for the first time Aadhya was in safe hands now. Vanh, Ekanshi's husband, also was relieved. He had always considered Aadhya as his own little sister and seeing that she was safe now gave him immense relief.
Finally, after about three hours of greeting people with smiles, Aadhya's cheeks had started paining badly. She gave out a loud huff and then started massaging her cheeks, Eklavya grew worried seeing her being in trouble, and gently removed her hands from her face and started massaging her cheeks. Aadhya on the other hand started blushing furiously. Seeing this the people around them started hooting. Eklavya, however, as always had his emotionless face on - except this time, he had creasings on his forehead because of growing worried for Aadhya. After massaging her cheeks thoroughly, Eklavya bent down and gave a small peck on each of her cheeks, and just like that the people around them started clapping loudly.
Aadhya, the shy one, removed his went and went back to her room speed-walking. She went inside and closed her door shut. She unpinned her drape and then looked at herself in the mirror, she had a bright red and a flushed face. Her mind then wandered to what would her mother say to her then and instantly her face fell. She heard a faint knock on the door and as soon as she was going to get her drape over her, she heard the door being opened and then being pulled by her waist. She let out a yelp and was about to hit the person when suddenly her hand was pushed behind her by the intruder.
Eklavya grew concerned after seeing his Aadhya going away like that, he knew that doing that act of his, was a blow to even his reputation, but he was now more concerned about Aadhya, he knew her family's behavior - after all, how could he allow someone get close to him without a proper check. He knew what Aadhya would have to face and he grew worried. He was now internally blaming himself for acting so frankly. Ignoring the stares and gawking of the people, he reached Aadhya's room as he completely knew the layout of the house. Seeing Aadhya like that, without her drape and in that low-cut blouse of hers, made him take a deep breath to control his hormones.
And then he told Aadhya something that again, made her question the evening.
Writing cliffhangers just make my day, although I doubt, whether they do to yours. ;)))
