Eklavya clenched his teeth seeing his love walk out with his enemy, all laughing. He always wanted himself to be on the receiving end of all of Aadhya, but now, there was someone beside Aadhya whom he never wished to. Aadhya's safety was his, and currently, she was with someone who was of the utmost threat to her. Wanting to first withdraw her from Veer, he gave her a call. Aadhya was about to comment on something that Veer had said when her phone began to ring. She saw the caller ID, 'Eklavya <3' and with a blush attended the call and started talking softly, "Hello Ved."

"Hey Sweetheart, waiting outside your college."

"Yes, yes coming. Just two seconds."

"Veer, my husband is here to pick me up. I'll see you tomorrow. Don't forget to do your assignments.", and giving him a smile, she went off; unknown to the fact that she left behind a fuming Veer.

"Hi there. So sorry to keep you waiting. Actually, I didn't know you were going to pick me up. So I started chatting with one of my students. Next time please inform me before you come. I'll be prepared, so you will not have to wait so much for me. "

"Breathe love. It's quite alright. Actually, I wanted to surprise my wife with a date so thought why not do it today itself.", saying so he gave her a wink which left her all flustered, "Oh! Have you informed Maa? She must be waiting for me."

"No, left that work for you. If I would have called her, she will think I am kidnapping you from her.", Eklavya grumbled. Aadhya laughed out loud, throwing her head back, listening to Eklavya's response. She took out her phone from her college purse and called Maa.

She picked on the first ring itself as if waiting for her call only. "Maa, I'll be coming home a little late today."

"No no, I am with Eklavya."

 "Yes."

"Oh that, actually he said that he will be taking me on a date."

"Maaa please."

"So sorry Maa, just slipped out of my mind."

"Yes Maa, we will. You and Baba too take care."

Eklavya was listening throughout their conversation, after her call finished he asked, "What did she say?" "She said us to enjoy our date and that if I do not come home happy and full she will kick you off the haveli." Hearing this, Eklavya again grumbled, "Yes, yes. Obviously, she is going to do that!"

Aadhya's voice then grew heavy, "She also told me to take care of myself and come home fast. She'll be waiting for me. You know, Eklavya, back then, no one ever told me to take care of myself. Instead, they all wanted me to stay out of their sight the maximum. I lied to Maa saying that it slipped out of my mind, Eklavya. I did not actually know that she would be waiting for me. I am not habituated to these habits.", and a lone tear slipped out.

Eklavya stopped the car and went out. Aadhya thought that maybe he was angry because she lied, but something entirely opposite happened. Eklavya opened the car door of Aadhya's side and motioned her to come out. He took place where she was sitting and pulled her on his lap and closed the door. Wiping her tears, he kissed her forehead, then her eyes, her nose and lastly softly pecked her lips.

"Aadhya, we will always be waiting for you. You deserve all of these. I do not care what the Agrawal's did with you back then, but I'll always make sure that our family never do that. Maa loves you. Baba loves you. Even those two idiots, Randhir and Kritika love you. Your friend, Ekanshi loves you. And foremost of all, I love you. Always remember that! Understood?" Aadhya looked up at Eklavya's eyes and nodded. "Good. Now call me Ved again." Aadhya chuckled softly and said, "Ved, my Ved."

"Always yours, Mrs. Ved, always yours!"

The couple arrived at a sober and subtle cafe since it was 4 o'clock in the evening and the couple had already had their lunch. They went to a secluded side of the cafe and settled down. A young barista came to take up their orders and his eyes fixed on Aadhya. This was ignored by Aadhya, or rather she did not see this at all. However, this did not go unnoticed by Eklavya. He cleared his throat to divert the barista's attention, but that lad was not ready to give up his eyes from Aadhya. Finally, Eklavya had had enough. He banged his fist on the table and got up. This definitely caught Aadhya's attention. "Listen here, you boy. She is MY wife, and for the last 10 minutes, you have been staring at what is MINE. So I suggest very strictly, get out of my sight before I call your manager and make him fire you because you obviously do not know that I am the owner of this cafe. Now, get out of my sight!"

The young boy flew away as though he had seen a ghost and an older man replaced him. "Hello sir, Hello ma'am! What can I get for you."

Seeing Eklavya was quite angry, Aadhya ordered for both of them, "Two Cappuccinos, please."

"Sure, ma'am. I'll get it for you soon.", and the man went away.

Aadhya turned Eklavya to her side and softly caressed his knuckles. She took up his hand and placed a kiss on each of his knuckles. "Ved, calm down. Please!"

Eklavya gave up. How could he remain angry after his wife was so carefully pleading with him?  He picked her up and placed her on his lap sideways.

Aadhya grew red and hit Eklavya's chest lightly, "Ved! What are you doing? Put me down! People are looking!" Eklavya just shuffled his face in the crook of her neck, taking a deep breath of her intoxicating scent, "MINE!". Aadhya just sat back on his lap, understanding what Eklavya felt and caressed the nape of his neck, and whispered, "Yours, forever Ved's."
