a dose of romance follows, you have been warned.

Aadhya could not believe what she was hearing. The Eklavya Ved Rathore loved her. She knew that her feelings towards Eklavya were strong, but love - she wasn't sure. But here, hearing that Eklavya loved her did wonders to her heart. She had always felt the same emotions that Eklavya was feeling towards her at the present, but she did not want to proclaim her love to Eklavya without her being sure. She knew that Eklavya deserved the absolute best, and she was going to make sure that he deserved the actual best- even if that meant waiting for a few days.

Hearing no response from Aadhya, made Eklavya look up and he saw that she was engrossed in her own thoughts. He felt that as if Aadhya was repulsing his feelings and naturally, he was heartbroken. He knew that Aadhya probably did not love him at the present, but at least he had expected some sort of response from her. He was about to get up when Aadhya held his wrist tightly. She turned towards her husband, "Eklavya thank you so much. Thank you for understanding me as no one has ever done. No one apart from Ekanshi has ever understood me, and I am so thankful. I had always hoped that my future husband would understand me, and I got you. And I know, I wouldn't trade you for the entire world." And then, she hugged Eklavya tightly, taking both herself as well as him by surprise. She nuzzled her face in his broad chest, but feeling no response from Eklavya, she was about to leave him embarrassingly, when Eklavya's arms went tightly around her holding her close as if hiding her from the whole world. He buried his nose in the crook of her neck and took a long whiff of her intoxicating smell, not caring if she probably acted like a damn creep.

Minutes passed with them holding each other like this, and then they awkwardly left each other. "You should go and change, the lehenga looks too heavy. Why did you choose such a heavy piece, even if you were in your pajamas, I would have married you." Aadhya looked up adoringly at him, "Ved, this is not my lehenga." Eklavya scrunched up his nose and his eyebrows knitted together, "This is Maharani Laxmi's lehenga. She gave me as a sign of her blessing, and I instantly fell in love with it at first sight. It looked so beautiful and even if it didn't I would never refuse her blessings" saying so she smiled up at him. Eklavya looked down at his understanding, beautiful, talented, underst- leave, she sufficed all the good qualities that every girl could ever possess. He bent down and pecked Aadhya's lips. Aadhya was starstruck, she was not at all expecting this, but then she did not feel bad or rather grossed out. On the other hand, she was left as a blushing mess. Eklavya had never been so straightforward with anyone before and thus, he anticipated if Aadhya gets repulsed by it, but seeing Aadhya's red face, all his tension flow away. He embraced Aadhya close, sighing contentedly as he kept his head over her forehead. Aadhya mustered up all the courage she could and placed a light kiss on his adam's apple causing it to bob up and down. "Aadhya go change, love. We need to sleep, you are tired."

Aadhya took up her nightwear from her luggage and proceeded towards the bathroom. Changing, she looked at herself in the full-length mirror and started biting her lip nervously. In the midst of her entire marriage, she had forgotten to take a pajama night-dress, instead, she had foolishly brought her shorts night-dress itself.

Considering that the mishap had already been done and that there was no way of re-changing it, she took a deep breath and opened the door slowly. She saw Eklavya sitting on the bed and scrolling through the mails. She thought that she could quietly escape his sight and was about to walk away quickly when somehow her leg got trapped in the carpet and she was about to fall face first when she was saved by none other than Eklavya.

Eklavya was checking his mails when his cut little wife caught his attention. Seeing her all cute and embarrassed and trying to escape him. He was about to stop her when all of a sudden she was about to fall. He held her by her waist and helped her stand up. After checking for any injuries, he sighed softly and then tucked a piece of her hair behind her hair, "Careful Mrs. Eklavya, we do not want you hurt on our first night, do we now?" Aadhya was left all blushing and his next words did not help either, "Your night-dress is really cute." Aadhya slowly said, "Ved, please. It actually just slipped out of my mind, I promise that by next week I'll buy a new pajama set. I am really sor-" "Quiet, love. I understand. No need to change your night dress for me. You look absolutely adorable in it. Come on now, let's sleep. Yes?"

Aadhya nodded and then proceeded towards the left side of the bed. She had always preferred the left side of the bed, often, when she slept on the right side either her back would start aching or she would be having nightmares. From the corner of her eye, she saw Eklavya taking up his pillow. "Where are you going?"

 "Sleeping on the couch"

 "Why?"

"You'll be uncomfortable."

"You can sleep on the bed. I won't mind"

"Are you sure? I can sl-" "I am sure Ved, now come. Let's sleep"

Eklavya laid on the right side of the bed and switched off the side lamps.

Half an hour had passed and Aadhya was still tossing and turning about. She often had problems sleeping in new places, and this situation was no different. Suddenly, a hand crept along her waist and pulled her to a hard chest.

"Sleep love."

And then she slumbered off to a dreamless sleep with a smile.
