Arc 8 - Sold!

I woke up alone on the bed. Triggered that I might be alone again and it was just all a dream. I clambered out of the bed.

"Nick?" I rattled.

"Nick?" I called out as I walked out of the room.

"Nicolas?!"

"Hey, babe. I'm here." I turned around and found him by the door on his office. I ran to him. Hugged him real tight and sniffed him until I calmed down.

"I thought you're gone. I thought it was just a dream." I cried burrowing my face on his broad chest.

"I'm here to stay with you El. Don't think like that." He said kissing me on my head as I heard him sniffed me as well. "Go take a bath and have breakfast with me. I have someone to introduce to you today."

"Okay." I said. "Good morning!" I tiptoed to reach him for a kiss. Shesh! That too forward for you Elphias.

"Good morning to you, too, my queen!" He said grinning. What?

I went and showered. By the time I went out from the bathroom, I saw a set of branded clothes on the bed. Assuming that it was mine to be laid out like that, I wore it. Black jeans and a white button up shirt and a maroon zippered cotton jacket ~ all, my size. Simple. I like it.

"Oh, here he is. Elphias, this is Marian. She'll be your aide and security whenever you go out. She'll be in-charge of your everyday needs, wants and schedule. She's a beta so she'll be at your beck and call if ever you need something during your heats. As you know everyone here is an alpha, she'll be really helpful whenever that time comes. Except for that ~ thing." He whispered to me the last one.

"Greetings to you, Sir Elphias. Please do call me Marian." She said at a bow.

"Oh, um... hi." I said as I moved closer to Nicolas. "Do I really need to have her?" I asked whispering to his ear as he leaned over me.

"Unless you want an alpha ran errands for you during your heat. Of which I definitely absolutely would not allow." He said sternly.

"Well, you've got a point. If you insist then." I said surrendering to his whims.
