I ran fast towards my school without ever stopping going to the toilet and locked the door behind the cubicle where I'm in. I feel so pathetic and scared that I don't know what to do. I'm shivering from my head to toe.

Shit! Calm down! Breathe!

My breathing was laborious to the extent of me hyperventilating

My breathing was laborious to the extent of me hyperventilating. I tried to overcome these episodes on my own. Yes, my relatives tried to persuade me for therapy. I eventually gave in but it really won't leave. So, I just gave them what they wanted to hear and released me. Loud bangs and thunder claps really triggered it but not this much. That accident before makes me relived some parts of what happened that day and it really doesn't help.

I tried to breathe in through my nose and release it out from my mouth as to control my breathing and heart rate. I guess being in therapy for quite a while proves it's worth at time like this but still my tears won't stop with just this.

I spent nearly all my free time before the morning classes start lingering in that cubicle trying to calm myself down. After my rain check, I washed up my face but I didn't bothered to see my reflection. I knew I look dumb and it won't change one bit even I tried to fix me. By then, I went to my classroom just a couple of doors down the hallway. I opened the door, just in time -

"GOOD MORNING!"

It startled me awake.

"Good morning! Why so loud?" Geez, what's up with them so early in the morning!

As I sat on my chair, I felt a chill down my spine. A chill that could bury me six feet under if that is possible. I tried to pry open my eyes, everyone what staring death glare at me. Then, there I saw these three guys in a suit.

Are they Mafia or something?

I tried not to chuckle but was cut off by the teacher.

"I'm so sorry about that sirs. That's Elphias Moore. He's a bit, let's say, complicated." the teacher retorted.

"It's okay. It's youth." Kuro said.

"Please, you may have the floor, sirs"

"Thank you." he said to the teacher. "Good morning! We're from the Empire Investment Group. I'm the secretary of our CEO here, Sir Nicolas. We are your sponsors for all the extra curricular activities including expenses and such. This is to have you connected to various companies that might be your future employers. Any questions?" Kuro explained.

"May we ask sir why us?" one student asked.

"The selection was random and the rest is confidential."

Why is that other guys glaring at me like I've got something on my face? Did I do him wrong?

Then I saw him waved his hand to the other guy.

What was that about. Well, who cares? Like it's got anything to do with me.

The day went on and alas school hours are over. I need to go to the bookshop for my part time job. Gregory approached my desk with concern written all over his face,

"Hey, Elphias. Are you okay now?" He said in a low voice only the two of us could hear.

"Yeah, I'm alright. Let's go? We need to meet up with Raizel on the way as well. He might get lost like last time."

"Okay but wait did you see our guests earlier? We're so lucky we are the chosen class. I heard that they do this every year for the last two years already. The previous class before us are now working on top class companies here and abroad even before they graduate college. Awesome, right?"

"Yeah, but I don't really like the vibe of the blond one."

"Huh? Are you serious? He's gorgeous from head to toe, Elphias! Did you check your eyes?"

"Really? But he's staring at me the whole time like I've got dirt on my face or something."

"Oh~"

"What?"

"Maybe he's interested."

"Want me to bury you?"

"Gah!" He ran out on me.

"Really dude! We're not kids anymore!" I yelled back at him. As I ran past class II-A, I saw Raizel on his way out.

"Raizel, come on! We're gonna be late!" Then I saw his clingy classmate wanna-be girlfriend, Minnie, trying to keep up with him! I ignored her and grabbed Raizel and ran. Raizel is kind of a soft guy and that's an unbelievable trait for an alpha. He's a little push over that's why I'm kind of okay when I'm with him despite of me being an omega.

"Elphias! You're gonna pay for this!" Minnie yelled out to me.

Ignored.

We were walking along the sidewalk and was about to enter the bookstore when suddenly a black car stopped behind us.

"Sir Elphias Moore. May we talk to you?" said the guy in a black suit.

Ma-ma-mafia? Oh no! Did I do something rude to anyone?

"Umn... Yeah sure." I told him. "You guys go ahead. Please do tell Noah that I have to pass for today's work."

"Okay. Be careful then." Raizel replied.

I expect that we will talk here on the streets but they ushered me inside the car. I knew there's someone inside already due to the silhouette but I sure did not expect who it was. It was the blond guy from earlier.

God! I'm screwed.
