"Nick!.... Nicolas!... Shit!" I screamed to Nicolas slapping his arm waking him up in the middle of the night.
"What!" he sprung out of bed. "What! Who is it!" he looked around and then looked at me.
"I think it's time! Aaaargh!" I buckled in pain.
My water broke on the bed. I was just returning from the bathroom but when I sat down and settled on the bed, I wondered why am I still wet down there. I put away the covers and found a pool of water below me.
"Okay! Okay, wait. Don't panic!" he said going back in forth at the end of the bed.
"Nick you're the one panicking! Make Kuro call Dr. Nosca! Go!" I said calmly and finally shouted as another contraction came.
"Right! Right! Wait there babe."
After a few moments, Nicolas came back and carried me out to the Palace's hospital wing. I didn't know where his strength came from but he carried me for more than a kilometer going there. Flanked by numerous attendants and security.
"You're going cesarian this time, El. Don't put me on the verge of death like the last time with Glenn."
"No, I can do this."
"Please, for me. I can't bear to see you in so much pain love. Please."
"Whatever just get her out of me please. It hurts." I clung to his clothes writhing.
I was clearly in and out of consciousness by the time I was being strolled in in the operating room. I felt and smelled Nicolas beside me the whole time making me feel relaxed somehow. Right then I heard our the voice of our second child as she got out of me.
WAAAH! WAAAAAH!
I smiled at Nicolas from hearing our daughter be born.
"You did it love." Nicolas said to my ear.
"Yeah, we did it." I sighed.
Days passed, I was discharged from the hospital. I was wheeled to our suite carrying my daughter, Tamrielle, in may arms.
As soon as we were settled on the bed. A knock on the door distracted Nicolas.
"That might be Glenn." he then opened the door.
"Mommy!" said my three year old son, Glenn.
"Hello my baby boy. How's your sleep?" I cooed at him as soon as he was by my side.
"Very good mommy!" he then gasped. "Is that Tammie?"
"Yes, honey. She's your baby sister." I said to him lovingly. Nicolas then sat in front of me.
"I'll protect her mommy! Just like I protect daddy and mommy!" said my alpha son.
"Yes, baby. Help mommy and daddy protect Tammie, okay?" Nicolas said kissing his omega daughter's head.
"I will daddy."
"Thank you." I whispered to Nicolas. He then caressed my face lovingly as I kissed his palm in resignation.
