Before I even woke up, I smelled Nicolas' scent in front of me. I saw his face as soon as I opened my eyes. This man. My fated mate. I smiled at the thought that I could possibly be with him forever. It's makes feel a llittle ~ yeah just a little ~ giddy. I wanted to touch his face but I couldn't seem to touch him He looks exhausted. Let's let him be.
I tried to stretch to my back. "How did I end up here anyways?" Last I remember was my head felt like bursting and I was by the hallway listening in to Nicolas and Kuro. Oh! Yeah, right. Maybe I passed out again.
I saw my phone by the lampshade on the bedside table. I looked up what time is it. It's barely two in the morning. As I was thumbing through my phone for the messaging app, a pair of hands snaked up around my belly followed by a hum of content from its owner.
"Sleep more. You have class tomorrow." Nicolas said groggily.
I shrugged my way to his chest inhaling his woody-rainfall musk. Haaa... pure bliss....
Hours passed, we were on our way to my school. Nicolas rode with me explaining some details regarding some security measures and what-not. Apparently, the condition is, I would be chauffeured to and fro by Sinna and Marian. That I have to answer my phone every time Nicolas checked on me or else he will go himself to wherever I am located. I may be allowed to be with my friends outside school but not without the two security personnel. The part time job that I had learned to love for pass three years, I have to say good bye to since my "safety" is Nicolas' first priority. I'd rather comply to these unless I want the same thing happening to me again. Not to mention my heat is coming up next week. I might not end up in an auction house but rather in a deserted alley raped or worst ~ killed. Better safe than sorry, I guess. Well, worst case scenario for me at the moment would be my schoolmates talking about me badly and mocking me behind my back. Yey! Lucky me!

"Remember to be wary of your phone whenever I contact you. Please do pick it up. It will ease up my anxiety being away from you. Whatever the case may be, call me. I'll drop everything and go to you whenever you need me." Nicolas said with worry in his eyes and scent.
