I'm moving? How? Who?

I asked myself wondering what is happening. I was being carried by someone.

Wait. This scent? Nicolas?

I looked up on my rescuer. Yes! It's him. I'm not dreaming, right?

I clasped my hand on his shirt as hard as I can to feel the fabric on my sensitive skin.

"It's okay babe. We're getting out of here." He said in a calming voice. He's exuding calming scent for me nearly lulling me to sleep.

I was then carried inside a car still in Nicolas' arms.

"HQ now." He said sternly.

I tried to look up outside only to see panic all around. Sirens from the police and combat cars from the military were there. I was then distracted by a light from above us. Helicopters are escorting us. What the hell?!

"Aaargh! Nicolas!" I said clinging to him as I felt the throbbing pain again. This time its more intense. I felt my reason fading away. My heat is overpowering me. I started to pant. I need my nest. Scent! Alpha! Heat. Aaaargh.

"HURRY!" he roared to the driver.

>no one's pov<

As soon as Nicolas and Elphias stepped out of the elevator, several men approached them awaiting orders.

"No one's to step foot at this penthouse until I call any of you. GO!" Nicolas exclaimed.

His early heat might be triggered by the drugs given to him earlier. Nevertheless, I need him out of sight.

They both parry through the foyer toward their bedroom with Elphias sobbing in his arms.
