News of Allard's death was sent by the Lahore court to his wife and nieces in France. The news reached Allard's eldest nephew, Bijman Allard Laher. He was well received by the court. Bizman took with him the valuables of Allard's mansion to France. The rest was good price but it was sold in Lahore. At the request of General Allard, the court gave the jagir's income of about two lakh rupees to Pug Bijman. After staying in Lahore for several months, he returned to France.
