One month later, Los Angeles, California, Audrey and Peyton's Townhouse, August, 9, 2039

A month after Audrey returned from Mexico with her sister and cousins, she was feeling more like herself again. She and Peyton have been going to therapy together for the past few weeks and going to the gym together. They have been going on date nights, trying to enjoy their lives again, but with the loss of Bayleigh in their minds every once in a while they will have to pull it together because they would be in a public place. Bayleigh's nursery hasn't been touched since they lost her just 4 months ago. They would've been heading to the hospital to have her in the next few weeks if the pregnancy continued until her due date. But, sadly, that didn't happen. Their little girl isn't here with them. And, it's still very hard to accept the fact she will never come back to be with them. Dani is now 16 weeks pregnant. Audrey is still trying to accept that her cousin is going to experience something she never has yet- being a mother.

Audrey was sitting in the rocking chair in Bayleigh's nursery, looking around the room as she sat in the chair, rocking so slowly and seeing how beautiful the room was.

The nursery had wood floor with a rug, along with a flowery wall with the white crib leaning against that wall, a light pink rocking chair with a foot rest next to the crib on the right

The nursery had wood floor with a rug, along with a flowery wall with the white crib leaning against that wall, a light pink rocking chair with a foot rest next to the crib on the right. A window behind the chair. A dresser with a changing table leaning against that wall. A mirror hung up above the dresser and a lamp next to the rocking chair. The walls were white.

As she was just sitting there, Peyton, her husband of 9 months now, was walking by from their bedroom when he saw her sitting in the rocking chair. He saw the look on her face, she looked somewhat different, like the way she was before the stillbirth. She looked relived, feeling relaxed in some way. How? He needed to know.

"Hey baby, are you okay?"

Audrey looked up at him, sighing deeply and stood up slowly. "I think-I think it's time."

He gave her a questionable look. "What? Time for what, Auds?" He asks his wife, walking over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "What are you thinking about, baby?"

She took a deep breath. "I think we are ready to pack up everything in this room..."

Peyton was overwhelmed with his feelings when she just had mentioned that. He didn't know what to say or do. This was something their therapist suggested when they feel like they were ready, but was he ready to pack up everything of his daughter's, who is now gone? He was just staring down at her. After a while of standing there in silence, Audrey spoke up.

"Peyton?"

Peyton snapped out of his thoughts, looking down at his wife, he shook his head. "I-I'm not-I'm not ready to pack her stuff up, Audrey..." He was trying not to be mad at her, but in the back of his head, he knew packing up Bayleigh's things would help them move on from the pain, heartbreak and seeing the nursery everyday isn't exactly helping with their healing. Sure, they are going to therapy, the gym and going out to dinner with each other and that's helping somewhat, but healing completely isn't easy with the nursery still here.
