after being invited in, i started going around the house, going to each of the prisoners that were in that cell. summoning a cup from the kitchen, i but my wrist, letting my blood fill it up.

"take a few sips. it will heal you." i started with luna, who drank some gratefully. i moved on to ollivander, then dean, then hermione. after harry and ron each took a sip, i went to griphook.

"don't want it." he refused, and i was confused.

"why not?"

"i got this wound protecting an item that belongs to us goblins. it's an honor to have it." he explained, and i shrugged, walking away.

as harry went to go talk to some people, i went outside on my own. sitting down on the back porch, i transfigured a rock and a stick into pen and paper, and began to write a letter.

Dear Salvatores, my favourite witch, my favourite vampire, my favourite human (Ric) and my favourite doppelgänger,

How is everything back in Mystic Falls? I hope I haven't missed too much. I kind of lost track of time, I feel as though I've been here a while. I got roped into a mission to help some people, who are now my friends as well. It's pretty secretive, so I can't give names or what mission it is, but oh well. It's pretty dangerous, though. I was nearly killed, had to save some people which also got me nearly killed in a different way, and worst of all, I slept in a tent. More uncomfortable than sleeping on straw. Anyways, I just wanted to send you a letter to let you know I'm okay. Once you're finished reading this, I'll know. I can do a lot more magic than you think. You can't send a letter back, because I've been cloaked by multiple spells, and am helping out with different cloaking spells as well. I miss you guys and everyone else dearly, hope you haven't done anything too crazy while I've been gone! See you soon, I hope.

xoxo, Brit

when i finished writing it, i folded it up and sealed it. i linked it to a ring i wore, so that the ring would glow blue once the letter had been opened. muttering a few spells, the letter rose up in the air and vanished to its destination, the salvatore house. after i was finished, i walked back in the house.

"do you guys maybe have a couch i could crash on for a little bit?" i asked the couple who owned the house. the effects of using so much magic and speed were catching up on me, and i was swaying on my feet.

"even better, we 'ave a guest room." fleur spoke with a heavy french accent. "follow me." i walked up the stairs, growing more and more tired. we reached a room, and she gestured in.

"thank you so much." i sighed in relief as i headed over to the bed, but she stopped me.

"you know, all of them said you saved their lives. is that true?"

"i suppose so." i nodded. "it was a group effort, i just put in a little more work."

"well, thank you so much. my husband might've lost 'is brother, and the wizarding world might've lost their one last bit of 'ope in 'arry. you did great things today." she thanked as i laid down. right as i was about to sleep, i answered her.

"you're very welcome, fleur. it's an honor to be working with them, least i can do is do my best to protect them, like i was asked." and with that final statement, i dozed off, watching the ring on my finger pulse a light blue. they got the letter.
