Two days later, Kat sat besides the twins crossing their fingers that Angelina was the Hogwarts champion. "Hope it's Angelina." Fred said with an excited tone as Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat Down. "So do I!" Hermione agreed breathlessly. "Well, we'll soon know!" The Halloween feast began and it seemed to take much more time than usual. At once the food and drinks disappeared when everyone was finished and Dumbledore stood up. "And now the moment you've all been waiting for, the champions selection!"

The students from all three schools cheered loudly in excitement and watched as Dumbledore unveiled the blue flame lit goblet. He slowly approaches the blue flame and it glows red for a moment before a flame litten paper flies out. "The Durmstrang champion is....Viktor Krum!" Dumbledore announced and the Durmstrang crowd cheered loudly, along with Kat who screamed in happiness for her cousin. "Go Vik!" The twins chuckled at her happiness.

Viktor looked over at the Gryffindor table and winked at Kat making her laugh and a few girls from her house swoon. The next piece of parchment then flew out of the goblet and into Dumbledore's hand. "The champion from Beauxbatons...Fleur Delacour." Most of the beauxbatons girls cheer for Fleur as she confidently stands up and walks towards the front to stand beside Viktor. "Oh look, they're all disappointed," Hermione said over the noise, nodding toward the remainder of the Beauxbatons party.

Those from Beauxbatons that were not chosen had bursted into tears. The final name shoots out of the goblet. "The Hogwarts champion...Cedric Diggory." Every single Hufflepuff had jumped to his or her feet, screaming and stamping, as Cedric made his way past them. The dirty blonde was grinning broadly, and headed off toward the chamber behind the teachers' table. The applause for Cedric went on so long that it was some time before Dumbledore could make himself heard again.

"Excellent! We now have our three champions! But in the end only one will go down in history. Only one will hoist this chalice of champions, this vessel of victory the Tri-Wizard cup!" People start to cheer but the goblet once again glows red and another name flies out, Dumbledore grabs it and quietly reads. "Harry Potter?" Some froze while others began whispering and muttering amongst themselves. "Harry Potter!" Dumbledore repeated his tone showing his anger. Kat looked down the table at Harry who was being pushed to his feet by Hermione.

"Go on Harry. Harry for goodness sake." Hermione muttered. Harry slowly and hesitantly walked towards Dumbledore and took the smoking paper from his hands. He walked all the way to the front where the rest of the champions had gone. Everyone was silent as this happened until Harry disappeared into the chamber after the other champions. "He's a cheat!"

"He's not even seventeen yet."

"What a bloody liar..." Ron muttered in anger. Rolling her eyes at him Kat glanced at the twins. "I have to go, translator duties. I'll check on Harry while I'm there." Kat kissed George on the cheek before leaving the table and heading towards the chamber where the professors and champions now were. Kat entered the room behind Dumbledore and McGonagall as the headmaster ran at Harry and grabbed a hold of his shoulders. "Harry! Did ya put yer name in the goblet of fire?"
