[8] Homemade Treats

The next morning everyone was packed and ready to return for another year at Hogwarts. Kat and George walked hand in hand with their trunks in their other as they walked up the platform. In front of them, Kat spotted two brunettes standing side by side, one a taller man with a hat atop his head and the other a woman with two boxes of treats. Kat smiled widely when she saw them. "Mama! Papa!" The two adults turned towards the sound and smiled when they saw their daughter.

Kat released George's hand and hugged both of her parents who then hugged Molly. "Ooo are those your homemade dough things?" Ron asked, his mouth watering at the sight of the classic white cardboard boxes. "Ronald!" Mrs. Weasley roared at her youngest son who quickly clamped his mouth shut. Emilia chuckled at Ron's excitement and smiled happily. "They're called donuts, I also made muffins."

"Blimey, I love your mum." Fred muttered as he walked past Kat and George with their trunks, bringing them onto the train and to their compartment where Lee and Angelina were waiting. Ron, Hermione, and Harry all quickly climbed onto the train to put their trunks away before returning to say goodbye to everyone. "I might be seeing you all sooner than you think," Charlie said with a grin as he hugged Ginny and then Kat.

"Why?" Fred asked keenly. "You'll see," Charlie said. "Just don't tell Percy I mentioned it....it's 'classified information, until such time as the Ministry sees fit to release it,' after all." Bill nodded, adding on. "Yeah, I sort of wish I were back at Hogwarts this year." Kat shared a knowing smirk with Ivan before turning towards both of her parents. "I'll see you on visiting day with леля Tatia?" Ivan nodded. "Da. Stay safe sweetheart."

Kat stood up on her toes to hug him before doing the same with her Emilia. Ivan pressed a kiss to the top of her head much like Viktor does before she left. Kat made her way back to the others after her parents left, she grinned at Ron's whining. "Mum!" said Ron irritably. "What d'you three know that we don't?"

"Actually I know too." Kat jumped in earning shocked looks from them all. "Traitor!" George gasped dramatically as he placed a hand over his heart. "Dumbledore will explain tonight." Kat said. "It's going to be very exciting—mind you, I'm very glad they've changed the rules—" Mrs. Weasley said, rambling a bit to herself. "What rules?" said Harry, Ron, Fred, and George together.

"Like Kat said, I'm sure Professor Dumbledore will tell you....Now, behave, won't you?" Mrs. Weasley then looked at the twins specifically. "Won't you, Fred? And you, George?" The twins only gave innocent smiles before rushing off into the train as the pistons hissed. "You'll watch them won't you dear?" Molly asked Kat who smiled sweetly. "Always." Kat gave the short woman a hug before following after all of the other students and climbing back onto the train.

"Tell us what's happening at Hogwarts!" Fred bellowed out of the window as Mrs. Weasley, Bill, and Charlie sped away from them. "What rules are they changing?" Kat laughed at his impatience and at how Mrs. Weasley only smiled and waved. Kat and the twins walked down the train compartments towards their usual one. When they finally entered the compartment Angelina grabbed Kat's arm and pulled her down beside her earning a pout from George.

"Oh bugger off, you had her all summer." Angelina focused on Kat and gripped her arm desperately. "Never. And I mean never leave me alone with Lee again." Lee scoffed at her words. "You make it sound like I'm bloody horrible to spend time with." Angelina glanced at Lee and nodded shortly. "I know, I meant to." Kat looked over towards where Fred and Lee sat and saw the treats from her mum broken into. "Since you lot already had your share I'm going to bring the rest to the others."

Kat stood up and collected the boxes much to Fred and Lee's protests. "Why do we have to share? Sharing isn't fun." Lee whined. Kat gave Lee a look, making him quiet and sit up straight in his seat, as she left the compartment Angelina called out to her. "Teach me your ways!" Kat shook her head in amusement and walked down the halls towards where Ron, Hermione, and Harry were. She sighed when she saw Malfoy and his goons in there unwelcomed.

"Maybe your father's too junior to know about it, Weasley...yes....they probably don't talk about important stuff in front of him..." Kat cleared her throat loudly causing multiple pairs of eyes to turn to her in surprise. Kat rose a perfectly arched brow at Draco with narrowed eyes. "Malfoy...I suggest you leave now before I do something you won't like." Draco scoffed. "What do you think you can do to me?" Kat tilted her head slightly to the side and smirked. "10 points from Slytherin."

Ron, Harry, and Hermione's jaws dropped but they quickly regained themselves and tried to hold in their laughs. "You can't do that!" Draco gasped. "Can't I?" Kat retorted, she then flicked her hair back revealing the Prefect badge on her jumper. "Do you want me to add another 10?" Kat questioned with faux innocence. Draco and his goons glared at her but angrily stocked off knowing they now had Slytherin in the negatives. Kat grinned triumphantly and entered the compartment and plopped down beside Hermione.

The Bulgarian girl smiled innocently and held out the white boxes. "Donuts?" Ron looked at her in absolute awe. "Can you stay with us all the time?" Kat laughed at his question. "No I'm afraid not, your brothers would not like that."

"Tough luck for them!" Harry added as Ron dug into the treats she brought for them. Kat looked at Hermione who had gone back to reading her spell book for year 4. "I have my year five book if you'd like to borrow it." Hermione looked up at her. "Won't you need it?" Kat shook her head. "Nope. I've memorized it and I am currently reading year six and seven." Hermione looked at her with wide eyes and nodded enthusiastically. "I'd love that!" Kat smiled. "I'll drop them off in your dorm."

Kat re-entered her compartment with the twins, Lee and Angelina, and sighed happily as she sat down beside George and leaned into his open arm. "Ah, I just love annoying Malfoy." George looked down at the brunette in his arms. "What'd you do?" Kat smiled innocently. "Set him straight...and took some points from Slytherin." George grinned and kissed her cheek. "That's my girl."

"I forgot you made Prefect." Lee said. "Still don't know how when you hang out with us so much." Angelina scoffed. "Hang out with me and the twins so much." He corrected quickly. "I may hang out with you but I don't get caught with you." Kat countered with a cheeky wink.

Oh Kat throughly enjoyed that
I mean who doesn't enjoy putting Draco in his place? Kat and Ang are best friend goals and no one can tell me other wise.
Also this is kinda random...but can you guys see the outfits I put at the top of each chapters? It gives me the options to upload them there but they don't seem to show up when I'm reading..
