MC strolls down the street towards the hospital having scattered thoughts, there was so much on his mind. There was alot to think about, and he needs some time to unwind. Hopefully Sayori is allowed visitors.

Standing outside he hears casual conversations and nothing else. Last time it was pretty busy with injured, but he knows what happened.

"MC? What do you want?" Said the head nurse. She's relaxing near the entrance and doesn't seem to be doing anything.

"Hi, is Sayori here?"

"Yeah, I'll get her. So, our patients, did they make it?" She questioned him.

MC freezes and his mind is consumed by horrific images of the burning bodies.

"Yeah... We got them out."

The girl calls out for her and keeps an eye on MC. Sayori sees MC instantly and rushes in for a hug. All of his stress and concerns melt away in Sayori's tight embrace, even if his leg ached with pain.

It's so good to see you again.

"Why do you smell like that?" Sayori questioned the fragrance.

"Oh, this?" MC pulls out the cologne from his pocket, "We all recieved one, it's part of our kit."

"That's an odd thing to give to soldiers." Sayori frowned.

"I know right? Good soldiers are supposed to smell good, I guess." MC smiled.

Sayori's brow furrowed, but she doesn't speak up about it.

"Things have been pretty quiet lately. No one's getting hurt, so that's good." Sayori said optimistically. She casually stands on top of a bed and looks out the room's window.

"I hope it stays like this. We're safe as long as there's no fighting."

"I just wish all this fighting could end. My friends are gone, my side and ears hurt, and it only gets worse." Sayori complained.

"You're not alone in that, we'll get through it. And, your side, is it okay?" MC hadn't forgotten her injuries.

"It's fine, just my ear stings a little. And I can't hear good."

"Oh, Sayori... That isn't good. How bad is it?"

"Don't worry, it's nothing permanent. That's what the others said."

MC walks over and sits on the bed Sayori is standing on. Sayori notices his winces of pain.

"Hey, let me see it." Sayori demands.

"What? My leg is fine, it should be fine."

"I know it's bad, MC. That's where you were hit."

MC silently gives in, but keeps his eyes away.

After removing his coverings and peeling away the dressings, they check on the leg wound. It's bad but not severe. His wound is refusing to heal.

"MC... It hasn't got much better."

He takes a look.

"I'll be fine, look it's not infected, so I should be fine."

His hopes are gone as he further inspects his painful cut. It's clear the wound is in bad condition and needs time to heal.

"You need to rest, MC. It's not getting better because you keep walking on it. I'll show the others and we'll keep you here until it gets better-"

"No I can't. I have a job to do. Eckhart won't like it if I do such a thing, they need me." MC spoke quickly.
