Orange makes its way over the horizon. The first rays of sunshine light up the land in a brilliant and warming glow. Dust glimmers in the early morning light. The beams of sun land on MC's face, waking him up.

After realizing that he's now awake, MC does what he usually does when he first wakes; goes back to sleep.

But before he gets comfortable, he mumbles happily to himself.

"The best part of waking up, is going back to sleep."

Immediately he gets more sleep, this time with his blanket shielding him from the sun.

But the activity in the camp increased as the minutes passed. A tank drives by his tent, the roar of its engine and the clank of the tracks startling MC awake.

He rolls over, and sits up.

Here we go again.

As MC pivots himself, he thinks about what today has to offer. What fun things he gets to do, and all the shit he'll have to deal with.

MC stops for a second, and keeps himself from starting his day. There are things he is excited about, but also things that he deeply dreads.

"Just push through it MC, ain't nothing you can do about it." Finally he gets up.

After stretching, he gets his outfit on.
He wonders what the others mornings are like.

Wait, where are the others?

MC suddenly gets an idea.

My phone!

He goes for his bag of personal belongings. After pushing aside his tanking uniform he grabs his cell phone. And fortunately, there's still some power left in the battery.

"46%, hell yeah."

He sends a text to each club member, asking for their status and their location.

Somewhere, in a repurposed motel, lies a girl looking directly up at the ceiling while in her bed. She's been there quite some time, just doing nothing. Staring at the ceiling. Very eventful.

"Hey, you should get up. You don't want our commander finding you..." Says one of Sayori's co-workers.

Sayori pays little attention to her.

"...ok..."

I'm a murderer...I should be killed just like I killed them...

Sayori thinks of that young girl who was executed because of her. It's the reason she had little sleep. And the reason she feels so depressed. Thinking of the other lives she's taken with a 50mm gun hasn't helped either.

She closed her eyes, in hopes of falling asleep, and never waking up.

*BZZT!* *BZZT!*

Huh? My phone?

Sayori totally forgot about her small electronic device.

What if it's MC?

Sayori takes her phone out of her pocket and views the message.

Just as she predicted, it's MC. She sends a response.

'MC, what's up?'

'yo you ok?'

'I guess'

'whats up??'

'In bed, at the medical center I think'

'lets get the band back together.'

'MC, I had a bad night. You know, my rain clouds'

Sending that message hurts the inner workings of Sayori, and worries MC.

'cmon, let's get with our friends. Think of how happy they'll be to see you.'

'do you need anything?'

'Sayori?'

'Find me at the medical center.'

'got it boss'

Well, I better go. Do it for MC. Do it for my friends.
