Chapter 5

"Seo Dalmi Weds Nam Do San" tae ra read out loud.
He might subconsciously have put that in his pocket, he thought.
"She is your ex, right?" Tae ra inquired.
Lee Ji Hyun didn't respond but his deep sigh answered tae ra.
"I knew it would be the reason the moment I found it in your pocket. Boys are so naive. Do all boys feel bad for his ex on her wedding day?" she wondered, moving her hands in the air dramatically.
Lee Ji Hyun still not responding. But he was densed then.
Tae ra was only being goofy but his deep stare on the window made her heart clenched. She felt bad for him.
"You really liked her, right?"tae ra asked but she was serious.
He just smiled but that smile had a pool of sadness, regression and heartbreak.
She felt so bad for him. He looked so timid and small though he was a 6 feet 1 inch giant.
She suddenly stood up and said,"Let's make that bitch regret" more like shouting.
He looked at her with a "what are you saying?" look.
But her eyes were glittering signing determination.
So he then responded,"No. I'm not doing anything. She has moved on. Im happy for her."
"Ugh, you can't say that. Tell me what happened?!" She asked, taking her stool closer to him to listen.
"There's nothing to say it was four years ago. It is me who didn't move on." He said smiling and stirring his ramen. Again that strange heartbreaking smile.
"Nooo, tell me the whole story then I'll come up with who should regret!!" she whined.
He really gave her the "are you serious?"look but she kept on giving her puppy eye.
He sighed.
He told her  everything and she responded each of his pauses with dramatic expression.
(She is unbelievable)
"It's loud and clear that she left you for him. But the question is 'did she cheat behind you?' during that 1 year work with that Dosan guy." she said putting her face top of her fingers more like the detectives.
"Noo, she didn't. She had always been honest with me."he said defending Dalmi.
"Aww, you are so naive." She said and it sounded more like an insult than a compliment.
"You don't have any girlfriend. It's a huge minus mark. We can't show that you didn't move on. Take me with you" she said as if it was not a big deal.
Lee Ji hyun was silent for a while but he spoke.
"You don't need to do this. I think I can move on now as she is getting married" he said and smiled.
"Nooo, I need to do this. I wanna know if she cheated behind you or not. And we need to show her that you are so happy without her and you also have moved on like she did which is actually not true but wha-" she started babbling as if it was her problem not his.
He just kept staring at her.
(Geez she is so dramatic…
…...but cute)
"Do you know why she sent you her wedding invitation?" She asked.
Lee Ji hyun really didn't think of that. So he looked at her with a questioned face.
"To make you feel jealous dummy and to see if you still love her or not so that she can give you a pity look" she said as if she was the only one being logical here.
As he gave a thought he realized there seemed no other reason than this.
He then looked up from where he was sitting to her with a "will it be okay if we do so" look.
(God why he is so cute)
She extended her hand and said,"Trust me you won't regret"
He hesitated first but held her hand.
