Chapter 15

"Why did I even agree?" Ji hyun breathed, hunching his shoulders.

"I don't know. Ask yourself" Tae ra said while picking the 9th dress.

"Aaa it's so pretty!!" she exclaimed as she held the dress to herself, expecting Ji hyun to respond.

As usual Ji hyun didn't seem to care and that only left tae ra to roll her eyes.

Even though she knew Ji hyun wouldn't give any response, she kept on showing dresses to him.

She acted all giddy and no doubt she was looking cute as the shop helper kept on smiling on their "Ji hyun not responding but tae ra still showing" act.

God she really missed going shopping.

"Ma'am, would you like to pay the bill or your boyfriend?" The cashier asked.

"Boyfriend?

Aniyaa

He is not my boyfriend, we just live together" tae ra corrected the cashier, laughing.

"But Yes, he will pay the bill," tae ra nodded at her own words and scooted out giddily with her bags.

The cashier's mouth was wide open as she was shocked.

Ji hyun chuckled as it was too funny to watch.

"Yes, she is telling the truth" Ji hyun sighed as he proceeded to pay the bill.

"Oh God, tae ra how do you do shopping that much," Ji hyun walked out of the mall as he was checking his phone, not exactly paying attention to anything.

"Tae ra, we got a message-" Ji hyun now looked away from his phone expecting to see tae ra. But couldn't find tae ra any near the car.

The bags were on the ground but no trace of tae ra.

"Tae ra," he called out loud.

Still can't see her.

He was getting worried as he kept calling her and searching her here and there, around the car.

"Ji hyun," he heard a muffled voice from a distance. He quickly turned around following that sound.

He saw tae ra.

He saw tae ra getting dragged by some goons around the corner of the building, across the road.

Within a minute, he was near them and threw a punch to the guy, who was dragging tae ra, as soon as he got closer.

Tae got released.

"Are you okay?" Ji hyun asked.

"Yes but.." tae ra's eyes got big as she saw a goon approaching them.

"JI HYUN BEHIND YOU" tae ra screamed to warn him.

But tae ra was a little late.

Ji hyun didn't get the chance to dodge the wood log so covered Tae ra quickly under his broad shoulders.

Thank God he was quick.

But that heavy log broke over his shoulder.

Tae ra raised her head and saw Ji hyun squeezed his eyes hard, she could feel it hurt him. But without wasting time, Ji hyun stood up and threw fists towards them.
