Chapter 10

Ji hyun was working in his office all alone for the past 4 hour. No disturbance, all in peace. He liked to work alone peacefully, he always had. But he couldn't believe a chaotic girl who he had met only 12 hours ago was roaming around his head. He couldn't concentrate.

"Ugh" he grumbled in frustration.

He took a peek at the clock, it was almost 2pm. Suddenly his phone rang up. He took a glance at the screen,

"Secretary"

He became impressed with tae hee's efficiency. He answered,

"Hello"

"Come down fast. I'm at the restaurant across your building." A female voice said from the other side of the phone.

Ji hyun could immediately recognize the voice,"tae ra?!!" He was shocked.

"Yes, now come fast" tae ra said, more like giving orders.

"But-" Ji hyun couldn't say anything as she hung up.

"This tae hee is so dead today" Ji hyun murmured before grabbing his coat to leave the office.

He entered the restaurant, more like stormed in. He was a little bit mad. But he slowly calmed down as he saw tae ra.

Tae ra was sitting with food in front of her, casually checking on her phone as if she were waiting. For someone.

She raised her head when Ji hyun was standing in front of her. She spoke,
"I know you're mad but please let's eat first I'm hungry". She dug into food as soon as she finished talking.

Ji hyun sighed but sat to eat as he was hungry too. After some bites Ji hyun asked, " Now are you going to tell me why you have my secretary's phone?"

Tae ra gulped the food in her mouth and took a sip of her strawberry drink before speaking.

(God she is such a 5 year old) Ji hyun smiled.

"I'm your secretary now" tae ra said, looking at him.

Ji hyun almost choked his food.
"Who made you that?" Ji hyun said while coughing.

"Tae hee oppa" tae ra said acting all giddy.

"You don't have any experience and you didn't even study law" he convinced, "and what's with this "oppa"?! He's the same age as we. You might be older than him" Ji hyun continued, annoyed.

"Aish don't jinx it" she said with an irritation.

" First, secretaries don't need to study law.
Second, every other applicant declined by themselves and I bet none was capable.
Third, you handed the responsibility to tae hee oppa, he hired me not you" tae ra continued, pointing out each of her fingers at the end of each sentence.

Ji hyun took a deep breath then spoke
"BUT I'M STILL YOUR BOSS AND I'M FIRING YOU"

"Well you can't" tae ra was then taking her one leg above the other , crossing her arms too, "the constitution says an employee can't be fired without any earlier notice. You need to inform him at least a month ago"

She was so proud of herself.

Ji hyun cursed under his breath.
(God she is clever)

"I'll not take any salary at the end of the month. Just take little care of me" tae ra said, giving him an eye smile. Anyone could say how not genuine that was.

"You will only get paid if you do your job properly" Ji hyun said while wiping his mouth as he was done eating.

"Ugh, I'll be good. Promise" tae ra groaned.
