Ji hyun woke up with peace in his mind, all fresh and calm.

He walked towards his bathroom but didn't forget to knock before he entered.

(Oh dear Lord now I knock before entering my own bathroom)

There was no one. He sighed.

The chaotic mess from last night was distinct. There were towels on the floor, the lotions, saving foams, shampoos, all scattered here and there.

The cardigan was there too.

He went over and took the cardigan from the floor. His thumb stroked the fabric while he held it with one hand. He remembered how she whined about not wearing it but did somehow the whole day.

He was smiling?

After cleaning and freshening up, he came out of his room. He walked towards the kitchen passing tae ra, sleeping awkwardly but peacefully on his couch.

He was trying to be quiet with all the plates and pans to not wake her up.

As he was done with the breakfast, he was then sighing over his coffee, sitting on the counter chair of his kitchen.

During this time he usually goes through the newspaper or daily mails but he wasn't.

He couldn't.

Because a petite figure, who was sleeping in a weird position, which was not pleasing or attractive, catching his graze again and again.

He involuntarily went closer to her, sipping through his regular coffee.

He stared at her face.

He sighed.

He stood closer to the couch for a while, wondering how someone who came to his life a few days ago can control this much of his life. He wondered if he's getting used to it. He feared the thoughts that were coming along it.

He took a deep breath before entering his bedroom to get ready for the day.

When he returned to his living room, the sun had changed the position or the leniency of the cloud no longer hid the cruelty of the sun. He loved this morning sun but not when it created a sheer amount of discomfort to the woman who was lying in his living with peace a few moments ago.

He regretted the action of him, leaving the curtains open while he was watering the plants on the balcony this morning.

He noticed the disturbances in her face. He went closer, now standing between her and the window, blocking the sun rays.

This was the stupidest thing anybody could ever do in this situation. Instead of closing the curtains, standing in front of her.

He wasn't unacquainted to the thought. But the temptation of seeing her unwind, relax, won over the coherent thought.

Tae ra relaxed as soon as he stood in front of her. Her discomfort faded into a tender smile.

The stupidity paid off.

He slowly walked backward, without leaving a leak of sun rays touching her skin, and closed the curtains.

He scooted to get his shoes as he was already late. But just before he deserted he left a note for tae ra.

He reached his office just before the clock ticked 10:30. He was almost 30 mins late for the meeting. He opened his office after giving a quick nod to tae hee.

As soon as he opened the door, a handsome man in early thirties stood up. His unfailing courtesy and forbearance was so evident though Ji hyun just greeted him with a smile and told him to take the seat.
