Y/N POV

It's been roughly 3 months since you accepted your brand-new job and became a producer. You have been working tirelessly, trying to create perfect songs in order to increase your reputation as a new person in the music production field. At first, you weren't sure about your talent in writing music, but you tried your best with the CEO's encouragement.

Throughout the months, you had learned and practiced the necessary tools to create professional music, and eventually, you made a song called "True Love."

It was a heavily based vocal song, not one filled with a beat but instead raw vocals. When you showed the guide version to the Woollim CEO, your song was approved instantly. As they paid for the song's rights, they complimented your talent and told you that they were glad you took the job as a Producer.

Your song was then made into a title track for your senior in the company Kim Sungkyu. You looked up to him a lot, him being your idol ever since you were a kid. Not only was he one of the best vocalists in Korea, but he was also a hilarious yet shy man, sharing a lot of the small qualities as you. Additionally, he was a great senior towards all of the company members and showed everyone kindness and respect.

Since you were a Music Producer, you focus most of your time making songs, not really socializing with anyone besides your co-workers. For the past three months, all you've been doing was jotting down music notes and making melodies for songs. You were a bit obsessed with your new occupation, which sadly caused you to stop talking to Yena.

After the CEO show, you and Yena became quite distant. Since you were busy with your new career, you didn't really have time to talk to her at all. You would rarely text her, and she would reply late due to Yena preparing for Produce 48, something that took a lot of her time.

Compared to the Collaboration practices we had, apparently, her new schedule was 10 times as difficult. Yuehua, her company, wanted to make with absolute certainty that she and the rest of the members represent the company adequately. Since Yuehua was a decent size company, and in the last season of Produce, the Yuehua trainees did a fine job; they wanted to make sure that they kept their reputation of being a dependable company.

However, this meant that you and Yena hadn't been talking as much, or at all due to us both having a hefty schedule. It made it worse that you were such a poor texter, becoming the driest person over the phone.

After communicating face to face for so long, when you guys suddenly had to switch to text messages only, it felt awkward. You didn't know what to say or how to have an "Interesting conversation."

Yena would often try to ask you out to go on small hangouts with Yiren and Sihyeon, like going to the beach or just eating in a restaurant with them. However, since you were so busy, you couldn't take the time to go with her. Of course, you felt bad, but it would be better for both of us if we stayed focused on our careers.

You guys dropped communications around 1 month ago, our conversations running dry like an empty well. You assumed the reason was that there were no phones were allowed on Produce, but you weren't sure. You were a bit upset that our strong bond ended like that, but it was for the best. She was going to be an idol now, and you were going to be a producer. It would be weird if we keep talking. You wouldn't want to ruin her future if DISPATCH saw you.
