The Shame

-Elizabeh's POV-

I felt like I was going to die when I felt his soft and sweet lips on my lips. At that moment I couldn't breathe. I closed my eyes tightly. I dont want to imagine my face how much was blushed. But I knew my face hadn't blushed that much until now. I didn't know how long we stayed like this. But as soon as I came to myself, I immediately withdrew.

Everyone was looking to us in shock. My face was burning like crazy. I didn't know what to say or what to do. I did not dare to look into Meliodas's eyes. But I knew I have to say something. Because we were in this situation because of me.

I opened my mouth slowly and I tried to say something. "I-ı am... so s-sorry!" I said to Meliodas quickly and embarrassed. I slowly looked at him to see the reaction on his face. When I looked to his face, I was very surprised. Because Meliodas's face was blushed like me. Meliodas's face had never blushed until this time. This was the first time I saw his blushing.

Then he slowly looked at me with his emerald green eyes. When our eyes met, I felt like I was going to fall and faint at. I ran upstairs without letting him say anything to me. I ran into the room where we were staying with Meliodas and sat on the floor, not knowing what to think.

I covered my face with my hands and started getting angry with myself. How could you be so clumsy, Elizabeth? After asking myself this question over and over I realized that my hand was on my lip. My face instantly flushed and I quickly pulled my hand off my lip.

At the moment door knocked slowly then Diane and Elaine came to the room. They immediately came to me excitedly. "I'm still in shock Elizabeth! You and captain kissed each other front of everyone!" She said excitedly and giggled. Elaine intervened. "I knew you and Meliodas were going to kiss sooner or later. You and him so close to each other..." Elaine said confidently and happily and giggled.

My face was red like a tomato and I objected without looking at them. "W-we didn't kiss! j-just our lips... t-touched each other!" I objected to them shyly and again covered my face with my hands. Diane rolled her eyes. "What difference does it make? What we call kissing is already touching lips each other." She said to me and giggled.

"Diane is right. Don't try to fool yourself Elizabeth." Elaine told me and pulled my hands off my face. "Don't blame yourself for that, you're always clumsy Elizabeth. If only Meliodas could hold you. Then there would be no such thing between you and him." Elaine tried to calm me down.

I looked up my head and looked at them with my flushed face. "If the captain wanted to, he would hold you." Diane said to me with a smile. "W-what do you mean Diane?" I asked her confusedly. "I mean, the captain didn't hold you on purpose." Diane impliedly explained to me.

Elaine's eyes winked and she snapped her finger. "Of course! as Diane said." Elaine said as if she solved a puzzle. My face was blushed when I heard they said. "No! S-Sir Meliodas didn't understand that I was going to fall, if he unders..-" Elaine interrupted me without letting me object.

"Then why didn't he withdrew, while you and he were kissing!?" Elaine asked me with a smile. She waited for me to protest. But I couldn't say anything. Elaine was happy about this. Then Elaine turned quickly to Diane. "I'm going down, Meliodas is definitely with Ban. I'll listen to what they're talking about." My face blushed with the last thing she said.

After Elaine quickly left the room and went down the stairs. My blue eyes met with Diane's eyes. I asked her the question that haunted me from the beginning. "How will I behave from now on? How will I come face to face with Sir Meliodas!?" I asked to Diane worriedly.

She hand put her hand under her chin and for a few seconds thought. "You'll act like before, as if nothing like this happened." She told me as if it was such an easy thing. I knew what she said was difficult, but I had no other choice. I couldn't run away from him forever. Moreover, we were sleeping together. So it was impossible not to see him.

I've been in this room for a long time. If I hid any longer, I wouldn't be able to act normally. So I decided to go down and work like nothing happened. I nodded in a positive way to show Diane that I am ready to leave the room.

Together we left the room and went downstairs. I took a deep breath and slowly run my eyes across the room. Boar hat's was a little empty inside and other sins kept working. When we came, all the other sins looked at me and then they drew their eyes from me. My face was slightly red.

I hoped that I would not meet Meliodas on my way to the counter slowly. But suddenly all my hopes are gone cause Meliodas was there and sitting drinking vanya beer.

When I saw him, I frozen where I was stood. He noticed me and stopped suddenly while drinking. When his emerald green eyes met my eyes, my face blushed and I looked away from him. I decided to go back to work and took the tray in my hand. I was getting ready to go when suddenly Meliodas came across me. I was scared when I saw him suddenly. He was looking me carefully at the moment my face blushed completely.

"Elizabeth, you worked enough today, I don't want you to get tired anymore." He said to me softly. I couldn't look into his eyes. Talking to him was harder than ever for me. So I was thinking what should say to him. At the moment I realized that all sins were watching over us. it got me more nervous.

"I-ı am not tired S-Sir Meliodas, I can work... a little more." I said to him nervously and I tried act to be normal, as if nothing happened. Meliodas started looking at me more carefully and responded in a way I never expected. "Sir Meliodas?" He repeated in a puzzled way.
