Confrontation

-Elizabeth's POV-

Meliodas instantly sat in front of me and took my head between his two hands. I looked at him with my full eyes. "Why did you fool me!?" I yelled loudly at him. I could not stop myself. I could no longer hold back my disappointment.

Meliodas was surprised at my reaction. I could see the emerald green in his eyes but confusion was not the only thing I saw. Also I could see in regret. "Elizabeth, I've never fooled you." Meliodas said without taking his eyes off my eyes. "Don't lie." I said to him sharply.

At that moment, when my eyes met Meliodas again, I saw more sadness in his eyes than I have ever seen. I just realized that the two words that came out of my mouth made him this long. "I can't explain. Please... please just believe me. Don't leave me, Elizabeth." Meliodas looked at me with pleading eyes and caressed my cheeks with his hands.

His words had penetrated me. Slowly tears began to fall from my now filled eyes. "W-why can't you explain?" I asked him in tears. Meliodas was hiding something from me, and whatever this thing was, it was getting too long and scared. "Don't cry..." Meliodas told me softly and wiped my tears with his finger.

Meliodas had come from seeing my question. I wanted more to know what he was hiding now. What was he hiding from me? "Do you believe me?" I left my thoughts with Meliodas's question and turned my head to him again.

Since the day I met him, I trusted him more than anyone. But his discussion with Ban and Zeldris had shaken my confidence in him. Despite everything, I still wanted to believe and trust him. Most of all, I wanted to believe him really loved me.

"I love you..." Suddenly I said to him. I was surprised to say this to him. I still loved him and missed him so much. That's why it suddenly slipped out of my mouth. Meliodas smiled warmly at me. And he rested his forehead on my forehead. "I love you too Elizabeth." He whispered sweetly to me. Then we continued to stay that way. İt warmed my heart to be and feel it like before with him. "I-I believe you Meliodas." I smiled as my face began to turn pink.

As soon as I said this, I felt Meliodas's lips. He was kissing me more deeply than ever. I closed my eyes slowly. And I grabbed his collar with one hand. I surrendered myself to him. Meliodas's strong arms wrapped around my waist. Then he pulled me into his lap.

I felt more comfortable in his lap than ever before. I dipped my other hand in his blond hair. Meliodas liked this. When I felt this, I got closer to him. I wanted to feel him more. And I wanted to take control, so I started kissing him more deeply and passionately.

I heard Meliodas's slight homorption. This awakened the passion in me even more. I put my legs around his waist. When Meliodas felt this he slowly pulled back his lips. But still our lips were very close to each other. His withdrawal did not please me.

"Eli..za..beth" Meliodas breathlessly said my name. I kept looking at him to hear what he was going to say. Then I noticed later that there was a demon mark on his forehead. And his eyes were now black. "I...I'm losing control..." He barely told me. I could see that he was trying hard to control himself.

"Just... tell me to walk away..." The dark black demon took his eyes away from my eyes. I knew that Meliodas wanted me to say this again to get him under control. But I didn't want him to go away. I wanted him. Then I put my arms around his neck. Meliodas stared back into my eyes and looked at me in an astonished look. "Don't walk away Meliodas." I whispered him quietly.

Meliodas's astonishment grew even more. I smiled to reassure him. Then suddenly Meliodas started kissing me again. But this one was much tougher than ever. I could never keep up with him. Then I slowly fell backwards. Now I was lying in my bed and Meliodas was on me. Our lips were as if they were sealed together. We never stopped. Meliodas... he was different than ever before. That's when I got it. Meliodas had lost control now.

~Next morning~

I slowly opened my tired eyelids. I was feeling more tired than I have ever been. I was aching all over. I couldn't even move. I barely straightened my body and sat on my bed. I yawned and rubbed my eyes. I was still asleep. Then I was startled by my sister Margaret's voice. "Wake up Elizabeth, everyone is waiting for us below!" She shouted loudly.

At that time without even answering her an arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me towards him. I groaned in pain. Later I saw that this person was Meliodas. "Elizabeth are you okay?" He asked me anxiously. And he gently rested my head on his shoulder.

His warmth felt good to me. I felt peaceful with him. "A-all over me hurts." Then I answered him quietly while I was still hurting. Meliodas caressed my hair with his hand. "I'm sorry Elizabeth..." He muttered to me quietly.

I gently looked up to see his face. And eye to eye with his emerald green eyes then I put one hand to his cheek. Meliodas smiled at me sweetly. Then pulled me back to himself and we lay down on the bed again. My face blushed like a tomato. "M-Meliodas we have to go downstairs immediately or w-we will doubt..!" I told him  in panic.

If we get caught it would be too bad for both of us. So I got off his arms and bed immediately. Meliodas sighed in a troubled way. "All right, I let you go for now." He said to me in a sneaky way. My face was still red because of what happened yesterday. Moreover, my face flushed even more at these words. Meliodas noticed this and smiled at me slyly, then took my hand and we went downstairs together.

As soon as we got down, everyone looked at us in surprise. Meliodas turned to me, smiled and grabbed my hand tighter. I smiled at him with my red face. "The lovers finally made peace." Ban said to us both happily. The faces of all the other sins began to smile. Meliodas bowed his head and kissed me kindly on my forehead. My red face was now dark red.

Diane came right next to us. "I am very glad that you are like before, captain. But... If you upset Elizabeth again, I will ruin you!" She squinted her eyes and said to Meliodas harshly. I chuckled with her protective attitude. "I know Diane, but nothing like this will ever happen again." Meliodas said kindly looking at me. I smiled him shly.

While the others came and congratulated us, I saw Zeldris, whose face was still sullen and staring at me with anger. I didn't know why but he hated it ever since it came from me.

At that time, my father and my sisters approached us. "I want you to stay here for a while, seven deadly sins and Elizabeth." My father said us with a smile. I looked at Meliodas to hear what he would answer. He put his hand on his chin and thought for a while. "Well we will stay Bartha." He answered my father with a smile too.

I wondered why my father wanted us to stay here. There was definitely a reason, but he could not tell us. While I was thinking about it, Zeldris approached us and congratulated us with a fake smile on his face. I looked at him suspiciously. Also I was afraid of him. So I got more and more into Meliodas.

When Zeldris noticed this, the smile on his face was frightened. While the others and Meliodas were engrossed in the conversation, he approached me. He whispered quietly in my ear so that no one could hear it. My eyes widened with fear when I heard him say to me.
