İmpending Danger

-Elizabeth's POV-

I continued to stay where I was until I heard Meliodas's reply. After a while, I turned around and looked at Meliodas, because he was still silent at the question Ban asked. I didn't like this silence.

Then Meliodas lifted his gaze from the ground and looked towards the sins. I wasn't sure if he realized that I was still here. "Actually, I haven't thought about that yet." Meliodas said it very seriously and put his hand under his fetus. My eyes widened and I kept looking at him nervously. İt was as if I was stuck where I was. Then a hand grabbed my wrist. I turned my head and met eyes with Diane's purple eyes.

Then she took me from my wrist to the inside of the boar hat. Finally we were on the boar hat. I ran my eyes inside and smiled nervously because it frightened me not to hear a clear answer from Meliodas. Later I felt Diane and Elaine looking at me and I turned my gaze to them. "Elizabeth, you don't need to be afraid. Captain will never do anything to upset you." Diane said and smiled at me' took one hand.

After all, she was my close friend. Of course she understood what I was afraid of. That's why I smiled at her too. "Thank you, Diane." I murmured to her quietly and dropped my gaze to the ground. "You should trust him, Elizabeth." Elaine joined the tasting and she smiled too. I started talking without taking my head off the ground. "I trust him and I believe but still... I don't know." I told them thoughtfully. For some reason I don't feel well. Was it because of the baby? When we came flying with Meliodas later, I remembered the strange ones between us. Yes maybe that's why...

"Elizabeth, you must have a lot of trust in him anyway, you will have a baby from captain, right?" Diane giggled and asked implicitly. My face instantly flushed like a tomato and I swiftly turned my head off the ground to them. "D-Diane..." I mumbled shyly. But they still continued to chuckle at me. "I really didn't think you'd go this far with Meliodas." Elaine chuckled and then continued. "I'm happy for both of you." Then she smiled back at me.

I tried to smile at them with my extremely red face. But all this conversation got me under the ground. But Diane asked the question that will embarrass me more than I have ever been. "Did you two really do-" I didn't let Diane complete her question. "D-Diane!!!" When I realized what she wanted to ask, I screamed with extremely fried face.

At that time, I began to hurry up the stairs without letting either of them speak any more. "Elizabeth!" Elaine called me anxiously, but I didn't care. After climbing the stairs, I stopped where I was because I was out of breath. I was surprised that I was tired so quickly. While I was waiting for my breath to recover, I could hear Elaine being angry with Diane.

Then I heard Meliodas come in and ask what happened with them. When I realized that he was below, I took action and went to our room with him. I was feeling tired and bad, so I slowly went to bed and lay down. At that moment I heard footsteps approaching the door. Since I was sure who the incoming person was, I immediately closed my eyes and started pretending to be asleep.

There was no suspicion it was Meliodas. That's why I didn't want to face him and I wasn't feeling well either, so all I wanted was to sleep. The door opened slowly. I understood that Meliodas had entered the room. He did not move for a while. My eyes were closed but I could feel him watching me.

Later he came slowly to me and sat on the edge of the bed. He ran his hands through my hair and then over my face. I was praying inside my face not to blush. He bent down slowly and began to kiss passionately, first on my forehead and then all over my face. I couldn't take that much so I slowly opened my eyes. With my face red like a tomato, Meliodas did not notice that I was awakening. "M-Meliodas..." I called him in a low and shy tone.

Meliodas hesitated when he heard me and then looked at my eyes. "Oh, did I wake you up?" He asked as he gently pulled my hair off my face with one hand. "Ummm no it doesn't matter." I told him with a forced smile on my face. I was sure Meliodas noticed this because his facial expression changed. He looked more anxious now.

"Elizabeth, I'm just trying to make the right decision." He told me calmly. I lifted my waist and sat on the bed. "I won't let you hurt my father, Meliodas." I told him sharply. Meliodas seemed surprised by what I said. But his facial expression was very serious now. "Elizabeth, I won't hurt him unless your father is trying to hurt me." He said to me in a solemn tone and stood up.

Now it was my turn to be surprised. "How would you think of that? My dad would never do such a thing!" I told him in a loud tone. It was the first time I was feeling angry with him. Meliodas immediately turned his head to me. "Doesn't it?" He raised an eyebrow at me. "Don't be so sure, Elizabeth." Then he told me sarcastically. I got more annoyed that he talked to me in this way. "Whatever happening, you won't hurt my dad, Meliodas." I said to him in an angry tone.

Meliodas came to me and closed the gap between us. "I must protect you and our baby, so I will do whatever is necessary, no matter who is trying to hurt us." He told me assertively. What he said hurt me a lot. Would he protect me from my father? Even thinking about it destroyed me.

I was about to say something to him, but then suddenly my stomach was very sick. I covered my mouth with my hand and quickly left the room and went to the bathroom. I immediately bent down and started vomiting. At that moment someone held my hair back and wrapped his arm around my waist with the other hand. I realized that he was trying to relax me as he slowly began to oxana my stomach. It was not difficult to guess who this person was.

I washed my hand and face after it was over. I felt relaxed now, but at the same time I was feeling very tired. "Are you okay?" Meliodas brought his head close to mine and asked me softly. I turned my head sideways to see his face. He looked extremely worried and scared. "I'm fine." I answered him muttering coldly. My anger towards him was still not over.

I was sure that Meliodas had noticed this. So his face had fallen off. But I got rid of his arm and went back to the room alone. I was really planning to sleep this time when I got to the room. Because I was having trouble keeping my eyelids open.

At that time, as soon as Meliodas came to the room quickly, he grabbed me by my arm and pulled me to himself. I was startled when my body hit him suddenly. "Elizabeth, I'm sorry. I'm only worried about you and our baby. Please don't treat me like that." I felt a deep regret in his voice. When our eyes met, I saw the same regret in his gemerad green eyes. I smiled at him sweetly. "I know, Meliodas, I'm sorry too. I guess because of the pregnancy I-" I couldn't finish my sentence because Meliodas kissed me gently on my lips.

Since I was not feeling very well, he kissed me gently and then slowly backed away. "Elizabeth, you look tired, sleep and rest." He told me softly. I nodded at him positively and smiled. Then Meliodas helped me sleep on the bed and covered me with a blanket. He smiled at me. "Sleep well." After telling me quietly he kissed me on the forehead.

"Don't go, stay with me." I suddenly told him as he was about to leave the room. Meliodas stopped and then immediately entered the room again. "Hmm are you sure?" I giggled when he asked me with a sneaky smile on his face. "Y-yes, I'm pretty sure." I told him shyly. I could feel my face starting to burn.

Meliodas came to me and went under the blanket with me and slept next to me. He gently pulled me in before I had to approach him. There was no gap between us anymore. I turned my face towards him and my arms wrapped around him and hugged him tightly. I placed my head on his chest, I closed my eyes. Meliodas hugged me tightly from my waist and buried his head in my hair. After feeling these, I could not stop me from smiling.

Later as we both sleep peacefully, someone suddenly opened the door. I did not know how long we slept. When I opened my eyes slowly, Meliodas had not left me, still holding me extremely close to my waist, and his eyes were still closed. "What is it, Zeldris?" Meliodas murmured drowsy and at the same time disgruntled. I knew he was awakening at that moment, too.

"Brother, demons are coming right here!" Zeldris shouted loudly in an extremely frightened tone.
