New Beginnings

-Elizabeth's POV-

Everyone was staring at the doctor at in shock. Nobody could say anything or act yet. I was no different from them, too. I didn't know what to think and what to feel. Then the doctor continued her speech, ignoring everyone's shocked looks. "You have to be very careful." Doctor looked at Meliodas and me and kept talking seriously. "This baby is not a normal baby, it is too strong. So it will be a much more difficult pregnancy than other pregnancies. You should stay away from stress and don't tire yourself, rest. I'll come to check you again, Princess." She explained it to us politely.

I was a little worried about what the doctor said. I understood that my baby was not normal after all, Meliodas was a demon. But it still made me nervous. "Okay, doctor, we will be very careful." Meliodas said to the doctor in a solemn tone. Then the doctor left the very tense environment.

"How can you do that Meliodas!? With what right you can touch my daughter, moreover, how can you get her pregnant!" My father shouted very loudly, his face was angry and red. We were all startled by his sudden yell. My anxiety and fear increased more. I immediately looked at Meliodas. "Bartha... I know I-" My father intervened without letting Meliodas complete his sentence. "I trusted you! But look what you've done! What happens now!?"

My father was mad with anger. I've never seen him this angry before. It was the first time I was afraid of him. But I could no longer let my father go to Meliodas. After all, not only that, I was also guilty. "D-dad please..." I said quietly, begging him. His furious gaze immediately turned to me. I inevitably got startled and leaned my back more on the bed. "Are you still defending him to me!?" He shouted at me loudly.

I didn't know what to say. Whatever I said wouldn't do it anyway. My father was very angry and he never forgives me. He had to calm down first. My sisters took my father's arm and whispered something to him and forced him out.

I took a deep breath after he left, but I'm still so scared. I am very happy to be a mother. I was carrying Meliodas' child, but I'm also very sorry. It saddened me that my father was still seeing this because of me, but I could not help. "You two need to be alone, captain. Don't worry, we'll get through this situation together." Ban disturbed the quiet environment and approached Meliodas, he put one hand on his shoulder and said with a smile on his face.

Meliodas turned his gaze off the ground and looked at him. "Thanks Ban." He muttered to him with a smile on his face. Ban patted his hand lightly on Meliodas's shoulder, then he and the others left the room. Meliodas came to me instantly. He gently took my hand, then I felt his soft lips on my hand. I tried to talk while he slowly kissing my hand for a long time.

"M-Meliodas, I-I'm so sorry. B-because of me you-" I was saying it sadly as tears flowed slowly from my eyes. But after Meliodas heard what I said, he immediately looked up, and all my fears disappeared when his emerald green eyes met. And he didn't let me complete my sentence.

"Don't Elizabeth, I never regret it, and it's not your fault." After telling me confidently, he came closer to me and when he started to caress my face with his other hand, I involuntarily blushed and smiled. "S-so what do we do now, Meliodas?" I calmed down a little more so I asked him.

Meliodas looked thoughtful. it seemed as if there was something he was hesitant to tell me. "Meliodas?" I called him hesitantly and looked at him curiously. "Elizabeth... You know Bartha got mad at me." He hesitated and looked at me and took my hand again. The seriousness of his face made me even more curious. "Y-yes." I answered him silently.

"That's why I can't stay here any longer..." He said quietly to me and took his gaze away from me. At that moment I felt a great pain inside me. It was as if my heart was torn to pieces. "W-will you leave me? " I asked him with difficulty as my tears started slowly running down my cheeks. I was very afraid of the answer I would get. Storms were breaking inside me.

If his answer is yes, I didn't know how to live without him rom now on. I couldn't even breathe without him. "No, matter what happens, I will never let you go and nobody can take me from you." Meliodas said angrily and clenched his other hand with a fist. Even thinking about it drove him crazy. That's why I was relieved. But even thinking that Meliodas could let me go made me feel guilty. I was very angry with myself for doubting him.

"Elizabeth, you don't want to leave me too, do you?" He asked to me serioulsy. When I heard his question I woke up from my thoughts and looked at him in disbelief. "Meliodas, of course, you know how much I love you." I said loudly voice to him and put one hand on his cheek. So my eyes met with his emerald green eyes again.

"So will you come with me?" He asked me hesitantly and continued without answering. "Elizabeth, I realize this is a very selfish request, but I can't help it. I dont leave you. Please-" This time I was the one who interrupted his speech, and suddenly I grabbed him by the collar and pulled him to myself and kissed him on the lips.

Meliodas's eyes widened with surprise. But I continued to kiss him passionately, ignoring his astonishment. After kissing him for a while, I slowly backed away and looked at his confused face. "I belong to you Meliodas. Wherever you go, I will always come with you." I said to him with a broad smile on my face.

Meliodas smiled as soon as he heard what I said, he put his hand on my waist, instantly pulling me towards him. This time he was the one who brought me to kiss. He pressed his body against my body as he kissed me slowly and deeply. I surrendered myself to him and enjoyed the kiss. I wanted to feel him more and I put my hand on his chest. In turn, Meliodas smiled slightly in our kiss.

After a long time, he slowly backed away. This didn't please me because I wanted more. Meliodas smiled at me slyly, as if he had read my mind. "We'll do more." He kept smiling at me slyly and said at the husky voice. My face blushed like a tomato. Then he put his other hand on my stomach. "I'll protect both of you at the cost of my life." This time, he said to me with a sweet smile on his face.

I smiled at him too, and at that moment Meliodas took it in his arms and started carrying me bride style. I wrapped my arms around his neck to hold on to him. "M-Meliodas where are we going?" I asked him curiously and confused. And I looked up to see his face. "We're going where we belong Elizabeth, to our house."
