Lilith POV

Arriving back at Draco room, he didn't say a word. He kept his head held low and stumbled a few times up the stairs, I tried to make small talk with him, asking him questions like: "Do you think the dark lord will succeed?" and, "Do you think it will be easy to fix the cabinet?" but no reply.

I didn't feel much different after the dark lord told me we had to kill Albus Dumbledore, portraying someone that helped me made guilt sink through my chest but I supposed it wouldn't have been different from the people I killed in the past, but Draco didn't know about the past, and I tend to keep it that way.

As we enter his room he went straight into the bathroom and slammed the door causing me to just slightly. I only caught a small glimpse of him leaning against the bathroom sink, breathing heavy and shutting his eyes firmly before slamming the door.

I sat down on his bed and thought about how the next year would go. I thought about Luna and how she would be in danger if she knew about me and Draco siding with the enemy. I thought about fixing the stupid cabinet and letting the death eaters in the castle, putting many innocent lives at risk. I thought about completing the task that neither one of us wanted to complete. I know I couldn't let Draco be the one to kill Dumbledore, I had to do it.

There was a loud shatter coming from the other side of the bathroom door, I stood up quickly and turned my head toward the door, my actions acted out before my thoughts as I vamp speeded over to the door and untwisted the doorknob, breaking through the lock on the door. The door fell to the floor Draco looked towards me, the ground was covered in shattered glass, I looked up at his slowly and then toward the wall where a mirror used to be, only half the glass stayed on the wall with the rest of it scattered among the floor.

"Lilith, get out!" Draco spoke while putting his hands behind his back.

I didn't reply, I took a step closer, avoiding to step on and glass.

"For god sake, I can't do this, Lilith!" Draco snaps. "Not now!"

My eyes widen as the smell of his blood rushes towards me, I look down at the floor, the reflected glass was stained of Draco's blood, I bite down my lip as I look back up to him.

"I got it under control." I pause as I count the beats in Draco's chest. "I wouldn't harm you, you know that."

"I said, get out." He tried to speak calmly.

I take a few steps forward, hearing the glass break from beneath me. "And I said, I got it under control."

Draco released his tense shoulders and removed his hands from behind his back, the blood wasn't the thing I was worrying about, it was him.

"I can't do this." Draco says slowly, looking down at the floor.

Confusion struck me as he repeated himself again, "Do what?" I questioned knowing there could be many different reasons.

"This, Lilith." He paused and lifted his eyes from the floor. "Us." His eyes meet mine as a tear rolls down his cheek.

So many thinks rushed through my head as I tried to comprehend what he said.

"I need you." I paused as I took a deep breath, hoping my tears will wait until one of us left the room. "We need each other."

Draco stays silent and looks at the broken glass on the floor.

I knew this wasn't the end for us, I knew that no matter what came upon us we would defeat it.

"I do need you." He said sheepishly, while biting his bottom lip nervously. "I can't do this alone. I need you, Lilith." He spoke while spinning his ring on his finger
