"What the fuck are you doing here?"

Hyunjin looked up, brushing away his silky black bangs, to meet Chan's fierce gaze.

The boy smiled sheepishly at the angry aussie and quickly pocketed his phone before explaining himself.

"Hey hyung," Hyunjin smiled awkwardly, anxiously shifting his weight onto his other leg. "What brings you here?"

"Don't act innocent with me, Hwang," Chan spat in annoyance.

Hyunjin knew Chan was mad now.

He never called him by his surname except when extremely angry.

"What are you doing in front of Jeongin's hospital room?"

"Well technically I'm not in front of his room," Hyunjin mumbled in contradiction. "I'm just on the floor of his hospital room."

"Respect your hyung," Chan seethed.

At this point, his knuckles were completely strained from clenching them so harshly and his fingertips were creating deep imprints in his palms.

"I'll give you one more chance to answer. What are you doing here?"

"Fine," Hyunjin sighed dramatically, realizing he couldn't win given the mood Chan was in. "I came to visit Jeongin."

"Why?" Chan asked, now confused.

He couldn't tell if Hyunjin was just trying to tick him off further by pulling the stunt he usually did when he was bored, or if the boy was being genuine.

"Like you said, he's a good kid," Hyunjin responded, looking Chan straight in the eyes with sincerity evident. "After meeting him yesterday, I don't understand how such a positive and sweet boy can have the worst luck.

"I know you probably don't trust me, hyung, especially since I usually try to pull random shit when I have nothing else to do, but today I'm here for Jeongin.

"Promise."

Hyunjin raised the hand that was held behind his back, revealing a small, yet charming all the same, bouquet of white and pink lilies, Jeongin's favorite.

Chan knew that Hyunjin wouldn't put such a big effort into a prank or an excursion out of boredom so he reluctantly nodded and led Hyunjin to the door of Jeongin's room.

Opening the door, Chan was surprised to see Jeongin in his usual sunny disposition talking to another brown-haired boy with the features of a perky puppy.

"Hi Channie hyung! Oh, and Jinnie hyung! Good to see you again!" Jeongin exclaimed, waving his hands excitedly as the boy sitting next to his bed turned his head as well in curiosity at the two boys clad in leather and metal.

"Jeongin, who are they?" The unknown boy in confusion, his eyebrows slightly raised.

It's not exactly typical for leather-wearing bikers to be friends with a boy who is literally the physical embodiment of happiness.

"Oh, right!" Jeongin exclaimed in realization. "You guys don't know each other. Channie hyung and Jinnie hyung, meet my good friend Seungmin hyung! I call him Minnie hyung for short. Minnie hyung, these are my other friends Chan hyung and Hyunjin hyung."

The boys exchanged awkward greetings as they weren't as outgoing and extroverted as Jeongin.

However, Hyunjin quickly found the words to start a conversation as he held up the bouquet he brought for Jeongin.
