The next events that happened went by in a blur. Leah and Mike ran alongside with Joyce as they wheeled Will through the halls of Hawkins Lab.

His screaming only worsened.

The nurses swarmed him asking him all sorts of questions while cutting his clothes off to check him for external injuries.

They kept asking Will where it hurt and he had the same response every time, everywhere.

The sight started to get too much for Leah and she turned her head sobbing into Mikes shoulder, while he wrapped his arm around her comfortingly.

Bob, Mike, and Leah were all sitting around Will's bed while he slept.

After a little while Leah drifted into sleep.

The next thing she knew she heard Bob's voice yelling, causing her to open her eyes.

Joyce and Mike where leaning on Will's bed and Leah sat up leaning against it as well.

"Hey!" Bob said coming over to Will.

"Who is that?" Will asks.

"What?" Joyce asks softly.

Bob started to chuckle. "It's me, big guy. It's Bob."

Mike and Leah shared a confused yet concerned glance.

"Are you a doctor?" Will asks.

"No. No, it's just me. Just... just Bob."

They were all now standing at the foot of Will's bed while the doctors surrounded him.

"Do you know your name?" The doctor asked after shining a light in both of Will's eyes.

"Will."

"Your full name?"

"William Byers."

"Do you, do you know who I am?"

"You're a doctor." Will answered.

"Have we met before?"

"I don't remember."

"You don't remember me? Okay. How about, uh... how about this guy here?" He said pointing to Mike.

Mike have a small wave while Will stared at him.

"Know who that is?" The doctor said waiting while Will sat in silence. "It's alright. Take your time."

"That's my friend. Mike."

The group shared a smile glad that he was able to recall his best friend still.

"What about me, kid? You remember me?" Hopper asks, Will turning his head to look at him.

After a second he began to shake his head no.

"They tell me you helped save me last night. You remember that?" Hopper tried again.

Once again Will shook his head no.

"Do you remember anything about last night? About what happened?" The doctor asks.

"I remember they hurt me." Will states.

"You mean the doctors?"

"No, the soldiers." Will replied.

"The soldiers hurt you?" The doctor asked trying to confirm what Will had just said.

"You shouldn't have done that. It upset him."
