Eleven was in the bathroom cleaning up, while Twelve sat on the ground near the bathroom door combing through her knotted hair with her fingers.
Leah looked up when she heard footsteps approaching. "It's Lucas, I think he's in trouble." Dustin said talking fast.
Leah knocked on the door, and as it opened she grabbed El's hand tugging her towards the boys.
Mike was holding his supercomm moving the knobs trying to get Lucas's voice to come through clearly. "What is he saying?" Mike leaned in closer hoping that would help.
"I don't know, he's way out of range."
Mike let out a sigh as he brought the supercomm up to his mouth speaking into it. "Lucas if you can hear us, slow down. We can't understand you." Lucas tried to respond but it was overridden by the static.
"Mad hen, does that mean anything to you?" Dustin asked, repeating what Lucas had just said. "Like a code name or something?"
"Bad men." Leah and Mike said at the same time. Mike averted his eyes to the girls. "Stay here."
Mike and Dustin rushed up the stairs, running around frantically and shouting. A few minutes later they were back with their bikes. They ushered the girls out the back door, and began to run through the backyard. El hoping on the back of Mike bike, while Leah scrambled to get on Dustins.
"Go, go, go, go, go, go." Dustin screamed as him and Mike started to pedal faster.
"Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god." Dustin exclaimed.
"Dustin, do you copy?" Lucas's concerned voice came through the radio.
"Yeah, Lucas they're on us." Dustin replied.
"Where are you?" He asked.
"Cornwallis!" Dustin shouted.
"Meet me at Elm and Cherry." Lucas instructed.
"Copy. Elm and Cherry." Dustin repeated Lucas's words.
All of a sudden, the same four vans appeared down the street, driving after the four. "Shit!" Dustin exclaimed looking at the vans.
"This way!" Mike yelled, leading them through a driveway and onto someone's backyard.
"Out if the way, out of the way!" Dustin yelled at two little girls who were playing a game.
They moved away just in time for the bikes to zoom between them. Mike and Dustin then cut through the park, only to meet Lucas on Elm and Cherry.
The three bikes skidded to a halt, everyone in the group breathing heavily.
"Lucas!" Mike cheered.
"Where are they?" Lucas asked looking between his friends.
"I don't know." Dustin replies. "I think we lost them." As if on cue the vans appeared once again rounding the street corner.
"Go, go, go, go, go!" Mike shouted repeatedly.
Suddenly, a van appeared in front of them barreling down the center of the street. The boys let out a collected scream, and Twelve didn't blame them she would be screaming to if she wasn't so busy trying to get El's attention. Eventually El looked over nodding understanding the frantic look in Leahs eyes.
The van lifted into the air, soaring over the street. The boys watched in shock as the van crashed into the ground behind them cutting off all of the other vans.

Once the kids finally make it to the junkyard, the boys dropped their bikes, taking time to catch their breath.
