The next morning came, and the girls were sitting in the same fort Mike had built for them. Leah noticed Eleven playing with the supercomm and realized what she was trying to do. She was going to try and prove to Mike that Will was still alive.

"El can you stop?" Mike groaned into his pillow. She ignored him and turned the static up higher. "El stop!" Mike shot up from his spot on the couch. "Please, that noise is annoying."

"Be quite, she's doing her thing." Twelve explained.

He shot up again. "Me be quite. You lied to me yesterday!"

The supercomm began to crackle as a voice flowed through it.

"So come on and let me know..."

It was Will.

The voice was frail, and there was a hint of sadness in it. He sounded like he was cold, from the chattering of his teeth. Mikes eyes widened in shock as he stared at the radio Wills voice was coming through.

"Should I stay or should I go now, should I stay or should I go now..."

Eleven held the device towards him, and Mike hurried towards it, snatching it abs holding it with one hand.

"If I go there will be-"

"Will? Will is that you? It's me ! It's Mike! Do you copy? Over."

No reply

"Will are you there?" Mike asked, looking up at eleven with a hopeful glance. "Will?"

The supercomm stopped crackling. Mike dropped it mouth wide open in shock.

"Is that... was that really?"

"Will." The girls said at the same time finishing for him.

Tears glistened in Mikes eyes and he pulled both girls in for a group hug.

"Thank you, thank you so much. You found him alive." Mike stammered over his words, still in disbelief. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."

"It's okay, friends don't lie." Eleven said, offering him a reassuring smile, which he returned.

A half an hour later, Dustin and Lucas had arrived and sat in the basement with the rest of the group.

They were all crowded around Eleven who was once again playing with the supercomm. Her eyebrows furrowed as her fingers turned dials and played with buttons to heighten the signal, but it was weak. Throwing the device down, she threw her head back in frustration.

"We keep losing the signal but you heard it right?" Mike asks as the others keep their eyes on El, who had blood dripping from her nose.

"Yeah, I heard a baby." Lucas scoffed. Will wasn't speaking so the occasional whimper was making it hard to tell if it was him or not.

"What?" Mike asked confused.

"Mike you obviously tapped into a baby monitor. It's probably the Blackburn's next door." Lucas said with pain in his voice.

"Uh did that sound like a baby to you? That was Will!"

"Mike..."

"Lucas you don't understand."

Leah decided she would speak up to try and help the boy that had helped them.

"I heard him, he was singing a song." She said but she was so quite they didn't hear her the first time.

"What did you say." Lucas asked trying to keep the patience in his tone.

"I heard him, on the radio, he was singing." She stated again.

"Yeah! He was singing that weird song he loves. Eleven heard him too!" Mikes adds enthusiastically.

"Oh, well if the weirdos heard him then I guess..." Lucas stated.

"Are you sure you're on the right channel?" Dustin asked, staring at Eleven.

"I think it's her channeling him that's the heard part." Leah added in.

"Leahs right. I don't think it's about that." Mike tells Dustin. "I think somehow she's channeling him." Lucas just gave Mike a weird look.

"Like Professor X." Dustin said.

"Yeah." Mike nodded.

"Are you actually believing this crap?" Lucas said in disbelief.

"I don't know." Dustin shrugs. "I mean, do you remember when he fell off his bike and broke his finger? He sounded a lot like that."

Lucas couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Did you guys not see what I saw? They pulled Will's body out of the water. He's dead!"

"Well maybe it's his ghost. Maybe he's haunting us." Dustin suggested.

"It's not his ghost." Mike turned down Dustins idea.

"So how do you know that?"

"I just do!"

"Then what was in the water?"

"I don't know! All I know is that Will is alive. Will is alive! He's out there somewhere. All we have to do is wind him." Mike says, as if it were that simple.

"Fake." Was all Twelve said. Everyone heard her this time and turned to look at her.

"Excuse me?" Lucas asks in shock.

"The body, it's most likely a fake." She explained.

"And how could you know this?" Lucas asked.

"Well-well I don't know for sure, I was just trying to add onto your theory of Will being alive." She said looking down, embarrassed that she didn't have any actual evidence to back herself up with.

"I think she's right. When someone drowns their chest is suppose to inflate, but Will's just stayed flat. And their skin shouldn't be that white." Mike nods, brushing his chin.

Eleven picked up the radio again trying once more to get a signal.

"This isn't going to work we have to get El to a stronger radio." Mike says.

A lightbulb went off in Dustins head, "Mr. Clarke's Heathkit ham shack."

"The Heathkits at school," Lucas explained. "There's no way we're going to get the weirdos in there without people noticing. I mean... look at them."

Mike, El, and Leah were in Nancy's room, sitting on her bed, while Mike fumbled trying to open some makeup. He opened a canister of blush, about to dab it on Elevens cheeks, but she flinched away. Mike repeated the same process on Twelves face before leaning back to examine the girls.

Eventually, Lucas and Dustin made their way over to a trunk of clothes and jewelry. After searching for the best outfit, Lucas handed El a pink dress and Leah a pair of jeans and a green sweater. And Dustin handed El a blonde wig. Mike lead the girls to the bathroom, making sure to leave the door ajar, and waited until they were finished.

Once each girl was dressed, they took turns looking in the mirror. As the girls left the bathroom the boys turned around and were surprised.

"Wow..." Dustin starts. "They look-"

"Pretty." Mike mumbles, finishing Dustin off,"...good." He adds, realizing what he had said beforehand.

"Yeah, really good." Lucas mumbles, his checks turning slightly red.
