"Take this." Minato commanded as he held out what looked to be a small piece of paper towards Alex. He obliged and stared in open confusion at the piece of paper he now had in the palm of his hand. Minato chuckled when he saw his expression and held up another piece in his own hand, "This is chakra induction paper. It reacts according to the chakra's latent element, for example,"

The paper in his hand suddenly split in half, "This means that I have the affinity for the Wind Element.", Minato calmly explained. "Hold the piece of paper between your index finger and your thumb and channel a small bit of chakra into it." Minato instructed.

Alex nodded and did as told, looking expectantly at his sensei when his paper split in half and wrinkled. Minato smiled reassuringly before explaining, "It seems you have the affinity for both Wind and Lightning, it is possible to sometimes have the affinity to more than one element so don't worry too much about it."

"Alright, I guess...but now what?" Alex questioned

"Now..we start training."

'one'

Alex jumped as a kunai with a seal came sailing through the air, embedding itself into the tree as Alex nimbly landed on his feet before continuing on.

'two'

He cursed when a seal suddenly activated, trapping him in place as it steadily began to drain his chakra. Weaving through quick hand-signs , Alex slammed his palm into the ground, activating a seal of his own creation that countered the workings of the one holding him prisoner. Alex smirked when he felt the seal's hold on him vanish before he started moving once again.

'three'

Alex couldn't hold in his bark of laughter as a horde of kittens came stampeding through the forest. He allowed them to drag him into a kitten-pile-up before holding his hinds together and whispering "Kai". The genjutsu disbanded, leaving a slightly giddy Alex as he got up, sensing his final destination was here.

'And finally, four'

His final target stood in the middle of vast clearing, grinning at Alex as he expertly flipped his signature kunai through the air before catching it again with ease. His blond hair moving with the breeze that carried through the trees, and his eyes glowing with mirth.

"Ah Alex-kun, you finally arrived. I noticed you didn't immediately release the genjutsu I placed. Are you perhaps getting rusty?" He inquired as he started circling Alex, like a predator watching his prey.

" Nah, those kittens were just too adorable, maybe next time you should choose something more frightening."Alex commented , his eyes never leaving the circling figure.

"Heh , noted."Minato said before jumping into action.

Alex would have missed it if he hadn't known his sensei, and in turn , known his moves. Minato used his famous Flying Thunder God jutsu, appearing behind Alex, ready to strike. Said boy dropped to the ground and flung a shuriken Minato, aiming for his abdomen. Minato vanished just before the shuriken could harm him and appeared a few steps back, grinning wildly.

Alex gave a smirk of his own before unsealing one of the many scrolls he owned . In a poof of smoke, a barrage of kunai appeared in the air before heading straight for Minato. Alex quickly made a set of hand-signs before holding out his hands towards the barrage.

"Raiton: Raikou Hitofuki no Jutsu!"

Bolts of lightning sprang from his hands and coated the kunai, just before they reached their destination. Minato expertly hid his surprise and moved through the projectiles, maneuvering through the air.
