"Ready to go in?" Kendall asked as she unbuckled her seatbelt and put her hand on the door. But she stopped when she realized you weren't doing the same. "Are you okay?"

"I," you paused, trying to find the best way to say the words on the tip of your tongue. "I think I should just stay out in the car."

"I'm gonna be a while, babe. I don't think that's a good idea." She chuckled. "Plus, my family is making a good dinner and I know you're hungry. Why would you wanna miss out on that?"

Her fingers danced along your thigh softly, causing butterflies to appear in your chest. But the good feeling didn't make your nerves vanish. Your girlfriend's eyes were so soft as she stared at you, full of stars. She makes you feel so loved; the opposite of what her family does.

"I don't think your sisters like me very much."

"What?" She asked, eyebrows pinching together in confusion. "Why do you think that?"

"Just the way they make me feel. They look at me funny and they don't ever say much to me. When you're around, they're nice and friendly. Then you leave the room and it's like... they hate me."

"They don't hate you, baby." She tried to convince you. But you knew better. "Do you wanna go home?"

"No." You mumbled, faking a smile. "I'll be alright. Let's just go in. I'm hungry."

She giggled and got out of the car with you but her hand was instantly wrapping in yours as soon as you were standing behind her and letting her lead you up the steps. She opened the door with her free hand and her sisters greeted her with hugs. However, they didn't do the same with you... they never do.

"C'mon, babe," Kendall whispered as she led you to the kitchen, sensing your hesitancy. "It's alright. I won't let you g-"

"Kendall! Oh, thank gosh, you're here!" Kris spoke, clearly relieved to see you and your girlfriend coming into the kitchen. "I know you just got here but do you mind coming with me to the store? I could really use an extra set of hands for the groceries I need to get for tonight's dinner that I forgot to pick up earlier."

She looked between the two of you and sighed before kissing your cheek.

"Mind if I go? I won't be long." She promised and you hung your head before nodding. "If you need anything, you call me. I'll be quick. I won't let her take long." She winked playfully and giggled before laying a kiss on your cheek and walking out the door.

You were unaware of the glare she gave her sisters, mouthing a 'be nice' to them as she left. But it wasn't gonna do anything to help the situation. It only made them angrier.

You could feel their eyes on you as you grabbed a glass of water. You sipped on it slowly and kept your eyes on the clear drink while their gazes rested on you.

"You just had to come today, didn't you, y/n?" Khloe grumbled, giving you a snotty smile.

"I-I was invited."

"By who? Your girlfriend? She's the only one who wants you around."

You looked at your feet and tried to pretend that their words didn't hurt you.

"Oh," Kylie cooed teasingly. "Did that hurt your feelings?"

"What did I do to you? I don't understand why you're all so mean to me. I've never treated you the way you treat me. I've been kind every time I see you, despite the glances and grumbles you give me."

"A lot of reasons, actually." Kylie scoffed and she parted her lips, ready to speak again when Stormi suddenly came into the room.

Her eyes lit up when she saw you and she ran to you, only for Kylie to scoop her up in her arms before she got the chance.

"Stormi, no! I told you! We don't talk to or go near... her." She mumbled and crinkled her nose like she was disgusted as she gazed at you, laughing mockingly.

Your eyes swam with tears. It was all too much. You'd never done anything to them. Why did they treat you so terribly?

"I should go."

"Good idea," Kourtney said, smiling fakely as she watched you walk out the door and none of them bothered to watch which direction you went off to.

They went on about their day, carrying on as if nothing happened, even after they broke you.

It was the sound of Kendall and Kris talking and coming into the room that made them look away from each other.

"Y/n!" Kendall yelled cheerfully, only to stop when she noticed you weren't around. "Where's y/n? Is she in the bathroom?"

"No. She left." Khloe said so casually and Kendall didn't miss the hint of a smile on her lips.

"What do you mean she left?"

"You should be thanking us."

"Thanking you? What do you mean, Kylie? Thanking you for what? What'd you do?"

"Oh, you just jump to that conclusion right away, huh?"

"Yeah! Considering my girlfriend said my sisters hate her, I think it's reasonable for me to jump to that conclusion. I know my girl. She wouldn't just leave."

They all went silent.

"You really hate her?" Kendall asked in disbelief. "My sisters hate my girlfriend? Why? What'd she do to you?"

"She's no good for you!" Kylie yelled. "You should just break up with her!"

"How do you know that when you won't even give her a chance?" Kendall yelled in response. "I can't believe this! I've never been so disappointed or so ashamed of you all." She said and grabbed her things before heading to the door.

"Where are you going?"

"As far away from you as I can get!" Kendall yelled out in response to Kourtney and stormed into the car before she drove away feeling ashamed and disgusted with her sisters and worried about you.

She needed to know you were okay... because nothing else matters to her but you.
