You enjoyed the cool breeze on the warm summer day. With the sun shining down on your skin and Kendall's hand in yours, you felt incredibly happy. You hummed as you strode down the pathway, eyes lighting up when your girlfriend mentioned going out for dinner to your favorite restaurant tonight.

"Does that sound fun, baby girl?" She teased. Seeing the excitement in your eyes, she knew it definitely did! She was about to kiss you when, suddenly, someone yelled her name from behind. You both turned back and the excitement you once felt dwindled slightly when you saw all the paparazzi making their way to you both.

"Not again." She groaned and tightened her grip on your hand. "Alright, baby. Let's take the other path. Think you can walk a little faster?" She asked, worried you might throw yourself into an asthma attack. But you nodded your head, wanting to get away from the paparazzi just as much as she did.

When the path you were on split, you took the other one instead. And after running a little bit, the paparazzi were out of sight, and hopefully, soon, out of mind.

But it wasn't all relief. You could feel that dreadful tightness in your chest. Your lungs burned and you started to wheeze. "Kenny, wait," you whimpered and let go of her hand. You tried to tug off the backpack on your shoulders, knowing that your inhaler was inside of it, but you were feeling a little anxious when it only became harder to breathe and you were fighting to try to get it off.

As your knees became weak you fell to them and reached behind you. Thankfully, you didn't have to struggle to get your backpack off any longer, because Kendall snapped out of her racing thoughts and helped you out.

"Your inhaler is in here? You're positive?" She asked as she unzipped it for you and started to dig through your tiny backpack. She tried to stay calm, knowing that if she panicked it would only make you panic. So, she occupied herself with the most important task - finding your inhaler.

"Here it is! I have it!" She threw the cap off and moved in front of you, not even worried in the slightest about the slight sting on her knees when they scraped along the ground when she scooted in front of you.

"Here, baby. Slow breaths." She reminded you and puffed it once, listening to you take a sharp breath in, letting it hit your lungs.

She waited for you to nod before she gave you one more puff. She grabbed the cap and put it back on. She took your hand and listened to you breathe in and out.

"You okay?" She asked.

You squeezed your eyes shut and caught your breath before giving her a nod. "I'm okay. Just tired." You chuckled, your energy suddenly drained.

"That's alright. Do you wanna go home?"

You nodded.

"Okay. I say we have a movie marathon until dinner. Sound good?"

Your eyes lit up, that look of excitement back once again.

"Well, come on then, pretty girl!" She smiled and helped you to your feet. Her arm went around your waist to hold you close as you made your way back to the car, an exciting afternoon and evening still ahead of you.
