Erza's POV
I narrowed my eyes at the guild known as Fallen Angels. They look rather suspicious. Suddenly, Natsu came running in with a serious face. Wow, that's new. No it's not actually, he's been like that since... Lucy passed away. "Guys, I have something important to say." He said with a determined expression.
"What is it, Natsu." I asked. He took a deep breath and then looked at Cani, Wendy, and I straight in the eye.
"Lucy's still alive." He said. We stood there, not talking, not moving, and possibly not even breathing. Cani was the one who broke the silence.
"Where is she?!" She exclaimed. Natsu shrugged.
"I think your spirit might know." He said.
"Which spirit?!" Cani said, near tears. I glared at Natsu. Cani has been an emotional wreck for the past two months, and now, he's maing it even worse by telling her that her sister is still alive.
"Crux I think." Natsu said with no smile on his face, unlike the cheeky Natsu everyone knew.
"Natsu-san... are you... okay?" Wendy asked, worry evident in her voice.
There was a silence. "Y-Yeah, w-why w-wouldn't I-I be?" Natsu stammered. That's so not like him.
"You seem...more sad over Lucy-san's death than Cani-san." Wendy explained.
As we spoke of Lucy, Natsu instantly tensed up. His eyes were covered by his hair. We looked worriedly at him. I started making my way over to comfort him but he started talking. "It's my fault." He murmured. "It's all my fault."
"Natsu-san, how is it your fault?" Wendy asked.
"I stupidly fell for his trick." He muttered. Who's trick?
"Natsu, explain the whole story, now!" I said sternly.
"It was after the whole dragon thing and Eclipse Gate thing. There was this guy who mocked me in my dreams, saying that I couldn't protect future Lucy from Rogue. He told me that he could make me stronger, he gave me this weird gas-like thing even though I didn't want it. I can't remember anything after that, besides the fact that Lucy was here for the whole going-to-dragon-world thing." Natsu whimpered. "I'm so stupid."
"Yes, you are." I said. "But like you said, Lucy may still be alive. This is important. We will need to withdraw from the Grand Magic Games."
"And I give you permission." A deep voice behind me said.
"Master?" "Gramps?" "Master-san?" "Master Makarov?" We all said at the same time.
"I give you permission," Master said again. "But we will not withdraw from the games. Gray and Juvia will take Natsu and Cani's place. Natsu, Cani, you will go investigate."
I seat-dropped. "Um, master? Why are you even here?"
"To cheer you on of course!" Master entered his 'childness' mode. I once again sweat-dropped.
2 Hours Later...
Canissa's POV
"C'mon, Natsu-san!" I said.
"Coming, c'mon, Happy." He said. We were in nee-chan's old apartment. We rummaged through literally everything. Almost everything. I went to her desk and picked up the only thing there. A letter from... Yukino?
It said:
Dear Lucy-sama,
Like you requested, I hid the key to the musician, Musicaux. It's actually not a silver key. Forgive me, but I examined the key. It's a platinum key, which is stronger than a golden key. Like the golden keys, there's a certain amount of platinum keys. Only three is known. They are Musicaux, Sorana, and Gillia. Sorana is the jewel fairy and Gillia is the water nymph. Their rather rare. Anyways, I'm very sorry.
