Canissa's POV

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Huh? Did I say anything?" Juvia asked me.

I frowned. Juvia forgot something she said? That's weird. I stared at Juvia from head to toe. She looked fine, a little scarred but fine. I looked into her eyes. They were telling me... nothing. I frowned. This is not Juvia. I mean, she is Juvia but her personality isn't Juvia's personality. Suddenly, the guild doors opened and it revealed about a half of the guild.

"Master," Gray said.

"Yes, Gray?" Master said, looking from Juvia to Gray.

"I wish to quit the Grand Magic Games." Gray said determined.

"Why?!" Bisca shouted.

"You have to be in it!" Alzack shouted.

"I'll get in for you." Max smirked.

"Nah, Max, you ain't strong enough. Geehee." Gajeel smirked too.

"Gajeel! Apologize!" Levy shouted.

"Why are you quitting? Are you afraid to lose, ice princess?" Natsu asked.

"No, it's nothing like that. Juvia has amnesia so..." Gray trailed of and I could see a faint blush on his cheeks. Ahhh, that's so cute! I decided to step in for Gray.

"Hmm... We could always put Mira, Gajeel, or Gildarts in." I mused out loud on purpose.

"Well, Gildarts is away, Mira is pregnant, so our only decision is Gajeel." Master sighed. Then, he looked around his settings. "And may I please ask who these people are?" He pointed at Moulin, Seendi, Vastia, and Nebula. I giggled nervously.

"About that..." I coughed.

"Oh don't bother with us, we were just leaving." Moulin said and her group left.

Laxus-nii grunted. "You only need one DeGel to win." He said. "I'm going on a hundred-year quest." He walked over to to the job board upstairs, picked one, and gave it to master.

"Laxus." Gramps said, a few tick marks on his head.

"In that case, I'll go in for Laxus-san!" Wendy said. The whole guild watched as Laxus disappeared. I watched in shock. I replayed the words he said in my head. You only need one DeGel to win. I smirked.

The next day...

Canissa's POV

We were riding on a large horse-drawn wagon. Both Gajeel and Natsu are... emptying their stomach. Erza was driving and I was trying to be as far away from the boys as possible. Wendy was just sitting nicely, talking to me once in a while. I asked her a few questions about the Grand Magic Games, and she answered them. We've been on the wagon since 5:30 this morning and it's 4:28 p.m. Only about 15 minutes before we get to Crocus, the blooming capital.

"Ne, Wendy, I bet there's like hundreds and hundreds of guilds wanting to join the Grand Magic Games, so they must be doing a pre-elimination round. Do you have any idea of what it might be?" I asked.

"Well, last time we participated, the pre-elimination round was called Sky Labyrinth, but it changes every year." Wendy explained. I nodded and the wagon came to a halt.

"We're here." Erza said.

I looked out of the wagon. Crocus sure was beautiful. The buildings are tall and well-built. In the middle of all this beauty, stood Mercurius, the Flower Light Palace. The streets were bustling with people. We all got out of the wagon. We were standing right next to our inn, HoneyBone.

"It says to be in your rooms by five." Erza said. "It's 4:42."

"Let's hurry up." I said and we all rushed up the stairs to our room. At exactly five o'clock, a giant lacrima came out of no where.

"Welcome to the pre-elimination round of the Grand Magic Games kabo." A giant pumpkin said. "This year, we're putting you in a large room. In the middle of the room is an updated Magic Power Finder, or MPF. The updated version of the MPF can go on forever and ever. Each team member attacks the MPF once and only once. Only the ones with the top five scores can get in the actual games, so hit the MPF with all your might! You may begin." After that, we got sent to the room with the MPF. I looked at the others. They all smirked at me. I guess we're going all out. I smirked.

Sorry for yet another short chapter. I promise the next one will be longer. :)
