Canissa's POV

Once again, I woke up with a start. What's up with those random dreams? I'm sure that they aren't just dreams, but they're also telling me something important. Haiki... I must warn him!

I jumped out of bed. I looked around. The room was very dark, meaming it's night. Since I was occupying Erza's bed, Erza slept on a couch. I looked for a clock, but our hotel room didn't have one.

I tip toed outside and then, held up a silver key. "Gate of the Clock, I summon thee! Horologium!" I chanted as softly as I could.

Horologium appeared and he said: "It is two p.m."

"Thank you, Horologium-san, you may go back." Horologium nodded and disappeared.

I sighed and slumped down, facing the ground.

"Feeling down?" Someone asked. I looked up and saw... nobody.

"I'm down here." That someone said again. I looked down a couple feet and saw... Carla the Exceed or cat of Wendy.

"Carla?" I asked. "Why are you here?"

"I can't leave Wendy alone now, can I?" She asked, smiling.

I grinned. "Yeah."

"Anyways, what was with you? You seemed... scared." She looked at me with worry.

"Well, it's not exactly something true. It's just a dream. Dragons, Demons, and Humans fighting. The world in disaster. Zinic... He's out to kill every single one of my people that's still alive. He has mind control magic and he can make literally everything listen to him."

Carla gasped. "That's horrible!" She exclaimed, raising her voice a bit. She must have noticed because she instantly covered her mouth.

"What's horrible?" A sleepy voice murmured. I looked up and saw Wendy, looking half asleep.

"Ah! Wendy?" I whisper-shouted.

"Sorry for scaring you." She mumbled.

"I should be the one saying sorry for waking you." I said.

"Carla, what are you doing here?" Wendy asked, suddenly fully awake.

"Well, I can't leave you alone now, can I?" Carla asked, asking her the same thing she asked me.

Wendy smiled a beautiful smile. "No, you can't." Then, she looked at me with curiosity. "Why are you out here, Cani-san? And what's horrible?"

"Uh..." I didn't want to lie, but I also didn't want people knowing about it.

"Wendy, you shouldn't poke your head into someone else's business." Carla scolded.

Wendy smiled again. "That's right, it's none of my business."

"Carla, Wendy was just being worried for me." I said. "Let's go back in and go back to sleep." I suggested.

They both nodded in sync and we went back in the hotel room.

"Thanks, Carla." I whispered to Carla.

"You're welcome." She replied.

I got back onto Erza's bed. I tried closing my eyes and going to sleep, only finding that I couldn't. Oh well, I don't want to go to sleep anyways. If I went to sleep, those nightmares might come back. I stayed in bed thinking about the secrets I have to uncover.

Like who is the stranger from Fallen Angels who wears a cloak. Or whether or not my sister is still alive. Or where the dragons went. Or... I slowly felt darkness swallow me.
